Sūrah Al Balad - [ 90 So Ingd a Giya Makkah ] - سـورة البلـد
( The City - Ang Lungsod )

Pangnal ko Sūrah

Sūrah ini a initoron sa Makkah ko paganay a kapthoron o wahī. Aya onayan a bandingan iyan na so Mohammad [s.a.w] ago so kiphapantagn iyan sa ingd a Makkah, a skaniyan so ingd a pilombayan ko Mohammad [s.a.w] a tatap dn a sslaan a ingd ko onaan pn o Islām ka phagndod so thotolan on ko Ama tano a Ibrāhīm ago so Ismāīl a pphannkayos pn ko thotolan ko Ādam ago so Hawwā a apo o kamamanosiyai.

Minsan pn pitharagombalay o Rasūlullāh [s.a.w] so mabagombar a ingd a mabasar a bangonan a gia ingd a Yathrib, a so kiapakatogalin iyan on na mimbaloy a Madīnatu ar Rasūl, (Bandaran o Rasūlullāh [s.a.w]) ago bithowan pn sa Tībah (soti a ingd) ogaid na so poso’ o Rasūlullāh [s.a.w] na lalayon tomataroy sa ingd a Makkah, sa gowani a gomanat sa Makkah ko kiatogalin iyan na kagia kawatanan na kiasangoran iyan sa lomlndag so poso’ iyan ko kadali on sa pitharo iyan a; ”Hay Makkah mataan a ska i lopa a lbi a pkhababayaan ko na oda bo ka so pagtaw nka a piakaliyo ako iran na di ko ska ganatan“

Pizapaan o Allāh ankanan a ingd ago piakalbi niyan ago siakaw niyan sa skaniyan i pompongan o ingd o manga Muslim sa doniya a ron dn magagawi a poso’ iran sabap ko pangni o apo iran a Ibrāhīm sa miaona.

Pizabanding ankai a sūrah so btad o manosiya ago so paparangayan iyan ko giikapligto ko tamok a gianan i rogo’ o kaoyagoyag o kaphagingd a patot a di matinkong ko isa a liong o kabosaw o manosiya ka khasabapan sa kaplikapaw niyan na phakaadn sa kaantior ko kaphangingd sa datar o kapkhaantior o lawas o manosiya igira miagapoong so rogo’ ko sabaad a ogat o lawas sa da makaondas a pkhasabapan sa kapatay a pankaw o manosiya.

Aya kadakl a ayat iyan na 20, a tomioron ko oriyan o Sūrah Qāf.

بِســمِ اللهِ الرَّ حْـمَنِ الرَّحِيـــمِ
Sii sa Ingaran o Allah a Makalimoon a Masalinggagawn.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Sa Ngalan ng Allâh, ang Pinakamahabagin, ang Napakamaawain at Ganap na Mapagmahal

90:1

Hassanor Alapa : Pzapa Ako sankai a ingd 2013

Muhsin Khan : I swear by this city (Makkah);

Sahih International : I swear by this city, Makkah -

Pickthall : Nay, I swear by this city -

Yusuf Ali : I do call to witness this City;-

Shakir : Nay! I swear by this city.

Dr. Ghali : No! I swear by this country, - (Or: city)

Tafsir Jalalayn : I swear (lā is extra) by this land, of Mecca,

Tagalog : Sumumpa ang Allâh sa pamamagitan ng sagradong bayan, na ito ay ang Makkah,

90:2

Hassanor Alapa : Ago ska na halal rka a kadan’g anka ko manga taw ron a manga mushrik 2014

Muhsin Khan : And you are free (from sin, to punish the enemies of Islam on the Day of the conquest) in this city (Makkah).

Sahih International : And you, [O Muhammad], are free of restriction in this city -

Pickthall : And thou art an indweller of this city -

Yusuf Ali : And thou art a freeman of this City;-

Shakir : And you shall be made free from obligation in this city--

Dr. Ghali : And you (i.e., the Prophet) are an inhabitant of this country.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and you, O Muhammad (s), have free disposal of, sanction for, this land, in that you will be given permission to fight in it — and indeed God fulfilled this promise to him on the day of the Conquest [of Mecca] (thus this is a parenthetical statement intervening between that by which the oath has been sworn and that which is a supplement thereto).

Tagalog : Na kung saan, ikaw ay naninirahan, O Muhammad, sa sagradong bayang ito,

90:3

Hassanor Alapa : Go so mimbawata ago so inimbawata iyan 2015

Muhsin Khan : And by the begetter (i.e. Adam ) and that which he begot (i.e. his progeny);

Sahih International : And [by] the father and that which was born [of him],

Pickthall : And the begetter and that which he begat,

Yusuf Ali : And (the mystic ties of) parent and child;-

Shakir : And the begetter and whom he begot.

Dr. Ghali : And (I swear) (by) the begetter and what he begot.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And [by] the begetter, that is, Adam, and that which he begat, that is, his descendants (mā, ‘that which’, [actually] means man, ‘whom’).

Tagalog : At sumumpa ang Allâh sa pamamagitan ng ama ng sangkatauhan – na siya ay si ‘Adam – at sa sinumang ipapanganak mula sa kanya,

90:4

Hassanor Alapa : Sabnar a inadn Ami so manosiya sa kaprasarasay 2016

Muhsin Khan : Verily, We have created man in toil.

Sahih International : We have certainly created man into hardship.

Pickthall : We verily have created man in an atmosphere:

Yusuf Ali : Verily We have created man into toil and struggle.

Shakir : Certainly We have created man to be in distress.

Dr. Ghali : Indeed We already created man in suffering.

Tafsir Jalalayn : We certainly created man (al-insān: the generic noun) in travail, in [a state of] toil and hardship, struggling with the tribulations of this world and the calamities of the Hereafter.

Tagalog :Walang pag-aalinlangan, nilikha Namin ang tao na nasa paghihirap at pagpupunyagi sa makamundong buhay.

90:5

Hassanor Alapa : Ba niyan pipikira a da a phakagaga on a isa bo

Muhsin Khan : Thinks he that none can overcome him?

Sahih International : Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?

Pickthall : Thinketh he that none hath power over him?

Yusuf Ali : Thinketh he, that none hath power over him?

Shakir : Does he think that no one has power over him?

Dr. Ghali : Does he reckon that no one can ever determine over him?

Tafsir Jalalayn : Does he suppose, does the strong man of Quraysh, namely, Abū’l-Ashadd b. Kalada, presume, on account of his strength, that (an: softened in place of the hardened form, its subject omitted, that is to say, annahu) no one will have power over him? Yet God has power over him.

Tagalog : Iniisip ba niya na dahil sa kanyang nalikom na salapi o kayamanan ay wala nang kakayahan ang Allâh laban sa kanya?

90:6

Hassanor Alapa : Gii niyan tharoon a miakaosar ako sa madakl a tamok

Muhsin Khan : He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!"

Sahih International : He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."

Pickthall : And he saith: I have destroyed vast wealth:

Yusuf Ali : He may say (boastfully); Wealth have I squandered in abundance!

Shakir : He shall say: I have wasted much wealth.

Dr. Ghali : He says, "I have consumed stacked wealth."

Tafsir Jalalayn : He says, ‘I have exhausted, in enmity of Muhammad (s), vast wealth!’, great [wealth], piles and piles of it.

Tagalog : Sasabihin niya na may pagmamayabang: Nag-aksaya ako ng maraming kayamanan.

90:7

Hassanor Alapa : Ba niyan iitonga a daa miakailay ron a isa bo?

Muhsin Khan : Thinks he that none sees him?

Sahih International : Does he think that no one has seen him?

Pickthall : Thinketh he that none beholdeth him?

Yusuf Ali : Thinketh he that none beholdeth him?

Shakir : Does he think that no one sees him?

Dr. Ghali : Does he reckon that none has seen him?

Tafsir Jalalayn : Does he suppose that (an, in other words, annahu) no one has seen him?, with regard to what he has expended to know the quantity thereof; God knows the quantity thereof; but it is not [in reality that much so as] to be considered a great amount, and [in any case] He will requite him for his evil conduct.

Tagalog : Iniisip ba niya na sa ganitong gawain ay hindi siya nakikita ng Allâh, at hindi siya pagbabayarin sa anuman na kanyang nagawa, maliit man o malaki?

90:8

Hassanor Alapa : Ba Ami da bgi skaniyan sa mbalaa mata

Muhsin Khan : Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?

Sahih International : Have We not made for him two eyes?

Pickthall : Did We not assign unto him two eyes

Yusuf Ali : Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?-

Shakir : Have We not given him two eyes,

Dr. Ghali : Have We not made for him two eyes,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Have We not given (an interrogative meant as an affirmative, in other words, ‘We have [certainly] given’) him two eyes,

Tagalog : Hindi ba ginawan Namin siya ng dalawang mata na sa pamamagitan nito ay nakakakita siya,

90:9

Hassanor Alapa : Ago dila ago dowa a modol

Muhsin Khan : And a tongue and a pair of lips?

Sahih International : And a tongue and two lips?

Pickthall : And a tongue and two lips,

Yusuf Ali : And a tongue, and a pair of lips?-

Shakir : And a tongue and two lips,

Dr. Ghali : And a tongue, and two lips,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and a tongue, and two lips,

Tagalog : At dila at dalawang labi, na siya ay nakapagsasalita sa pamamagitan nito,

90:10

Hassanor Alapa : Go tioro Ami skaniyan ko dowa a lalan

Muhsin Khan : And shown him the two ways (good and evil)?

Sahih International : And have shown him the two ways?

Pickthall : And guide him to the parting of the mountain ways?

Yusuf Ali : And shown him the two highways?

Shakir : And pointed out to him the two conspicuous ways?

Dr. Ghali : And guided him on the two highways (of good and evil)?

Tafsir Jalalayn : and guided him to the two paths?, [did We not] point out to him the path of good and that of evil?

Tagalog : At nilinaw Namin sa kanya ang dalawang daan: ang mabuti at masama?

90:11

Hassanor Alapa : Na da niyan sapanga so balamban (a pangalang) 2017

Muhsin Khan : But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep.

Sahih International : But he has not broken through the difficult pass.

Pickthall : But he hath not attempted the Ascent -

Yusuf Ali : But he hath made no haste on the path that is steep.

Shakir : But he would not attempt the uphill road,

Dr. Ghali : Yet he has not rushed along the uneven (Or: steep) track.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Yet why does he not assault the obstacle?, [why] does he [not] surmount it?

Tagalog : Subali’t hindi siya naghangad na makaligtas sa masidhing pagpapahirap sa Kabilang-Buhay sa pamamagitan ng paggasta ng kayamanan sa Daan ng Allâh, upang siya ay maging tiyak sa kaligtasan.

90:12

Hassanor Alapa : Go antaa i miakatokaw rka o antonaa so pangalang

Muhsin Khan : And what will make you know the path that is steep?

Sahih International : And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?

Pickthall : Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Ascent is! -

Yusuf Ali : And what will explain to thee the path that is steep?-

Shakir : And what will make you comprehend what the uphill road is?

Dr. Ghali : And what makes you realize what the uneven track is?

Tafsir Jalalayn : And what will show you, [what will] make known to you, what the obstacle is?, that he is to surmount — intended to emphasise its enormity (this statement is a parenthetical one). He explains the way to surmount it by saying:

Tagalog : Ano bang bagay ang makapagpapabatid sa iyo: sa anumang kahirapan sa Kabilang-Buhay at anumang makatutulong para makaligtas sa kahirapang ito?

90:13

Hassanor Alapa : So kabokaa ko lig (o oripn sa makamaradika)

Muhsin Khan : (It is) Freeing a neck (slave, etc.)

Sahih International : It is the freeing of a slave

Pickthall : (It is) to free a slave,

Yusuf Ali : (It is:) freeing the bondman;

Shakir : (It is) the setting free of a slave,

Dr. Ghali : It is the freeing of a slave, (Literally: the untying of a neck)

Tafsir Jalalayn : the freeing of a slave, from bondage,

Tagalog : Katiyakan, ito ay pagpapalaya ng mananampalatayang alipin na babae mula sa pagkabihag at pag-alipin sa kanya.

90:14

Hassanor Alapa : Odi na so kapamagana sa alongan a adn a kaor iyan (musim a taon)

Muhsin Khan : Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine),

Sahih International : Or feeding on a day of severe hunger

Pickthall : And to feed in the day of hunger.

Yusuf Ali : Or the giving of food in a day of privation

Shakir : Or the giving of food in a day of hunger

Dr. Ghali : Or feeding upon a day of famine.

Tafsir Jalalayn : or to give food on a day of hunger,

Tagalog : O di kaya ay pagpapakain sa panahon na matindi ang taggutom,

90:15

Hassanor Alapa : Sa wata a ilo a adn a katotonganay ron

Muhsin Khan : To an orphan near of kin.

Sahih International : An orphan of near relationship

Pickthall : An orphan near of kin,

Yusuf Ali : To the orphan with claims of relationship,

Shakir : To an orphan, having relationship,

Dr. Ghali : An orphan of (Literally: owning) near relationship,

Tafsir Jalalayn : to an orphan near of kin (maqraba means qarāba),

Tagalog :Ng mga ulila mula sa kamag-anak, na sa panahong yaon ang kahalagahan ng pagsasagawa ng kawanggawa at pagpapatibay ng ugnayang magkakamag-anak,

90:16

Hassanor Alapa : Odi na miskin a adn a kapipiloi ron

Muhsin Khan : Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery.

Sahih International : Or a needy person in misery

Pickthall : Or some poor wretch in misery,

Yusuf Ali : Or to the indigent (down) in the dust.

Shakir : Or to the poor man lying in the dust.

Dr. Ghali : Or an indigent man in starvation; (Literally: in dusty circumstances)

Tafsir Jalalayn : or a needy person in misery (matraba: [literally means] ‘clinging to the dust [turāb]’ because of his poverty; a variant reading has two verbal nouns in place of the two verbs [fakka, ‘he freed’, and at‘ama, ‘he fed’], the first being in a genitive construction, fakku raqabatin, ‘the freeing of a slave’, and the second with nunation, it‘āmun, ‘to give food’, in which case there is an implied iqtihāmu before al-‘aqaba, of which the said reading becomes the explication);

Tagalog : O di kaya ay sa mahihirap na dukha na salat sa kahirapan.

90:17

Hassanor Alapa : Oriyan iyan na maadn skaniyan a pd ko siran oto a miamaratiaya ago inipamagosiata iran so kazabar ago inipama-gosiata iran so kakhakalimoay

Muhsin Khan : Then he became one of those who believed, and recommended one another to perseverance and patience, and (also) recommended one another to pity and compassion.

Sahih International : And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.

Pickthall : And to be of those who believe and exhort one another to perseverance and exhort one another to pity.

Yusuf Ali : Then will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion.

Shakir : Then he is of those who believe and charge one another to show patience, and charge one another to show compassion.

Dr. Ghali : Thereafter he is one of the ones who believed, and enjoined one another to have patience, and enjoined one another to do merciful deeds.

Tafsir Jalalayn : while being (thumma kāna is a supplement to iqtahama, ‘he assaulted’; thumma is for the ordering of things to be mentioned) in other words, [what is meant is that] at the point of the assault he was: one of those who believe and enjoin one another to steadfastness, in [pursuing] obedience and in refraining from disobedience, and enjoin one another to compassion (marhama means rahma), towards creatures.

Tagalog : Pagkatapos, kasama sa pagsagawa ng mga mabubuting gawa na mga nabanggit ay ang pagiging dalisay niya na taos-puso ang kanyang paniniwala sa Allâh, na nagpapayuhan sa isa’t isa ng pagtitiis sa pagsunod sa Allâh at pag-iwas sa mga kasalanan, at nagpapayuhan sa pagiging mabuti at pagsasagawa ng kawanggawa.

90:18

Hassanor Alapa : Siran oto so khirk ko katampar sa kawanan 2018

Muhsin Khan : They are those on the right Hand (the dwellers of Paradise),

Sahih International : Those are the companions of the right.

Pickthall : Their place will be on the right hand.

Yusuf Ali : Such are the Companions of the right Hand.

Shakir : These are the people of the right hand.

Dr. Ghali : Those are the companions of the position of rightness.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Those, the ones described by the said attributes, are the ones of the right [side] (al-maymana means al-yamīn).

Tagalog : Ang mga yaong gumawa ng ganitong gawain, sila ang mga ‘Ashâbul Maymanah’ – nasa gawing kanan, na kung saan, sila ay isasama sa Araw ng Muling Pagkabuhay sa mga nasa gawing kanan na patungo sa ‘Al-Jannah’ (Hardin).

90:19

Hassanor Alapa : Na so siran oto a sianka iran so manga tanda Ami na siran i khi manga rk ko katampar sa diwang

Muhsin Khan : But those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they are those on the Left Hand (the dwellers of Hell).

Sahih International : But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.

Pickthall : But those who disbelieve Our revelations, their place will be on the left hand.

Yusuf Ali : But those who reject Our Signs, they are the (unhappy) Companions of the Left Hand.

Shakir : And (as for) those who disbelieve in our communications, they are the people of the left hand.

Dr. Ghali : And the ones who disbelieve in Our signs, they are the companions of the position of sinister (befalling); (Or: the Hand)

Tafsir Jalalayn : But those who disbelieve in Our signs, they are the ones of the left [side] (al-mash’ama means al-shimāl).

Tagalog : Ang mga yaong hindi naniwala sa Qur’ân, sila ang mga yaong ‘Ashâbul Mash`amah’ na ibibilang at isasama sa Araw ng Muling Pagkabuhay sa mga nasa gawing kaliwa patungo sa Impiyerno.

90:20

Hassanor Alapa : A ikokolambo kiran a apoy a llkhban siran on 2019

Muhsin Khan : The Fire will be shut over them (i.e. they will be enveloped by the Fire without any opening or window or outlet.

Sahih International : Over them will be fire closed in.

Pickthall : Fire will be an awning over them.

Yusuf Ali : On them will be Fire vaulted over (all round).

Shakir : On them is fire closed over.

Dr. Ghali : Over them is a Fire without any outlet (Literally: vaulted/over).

Tafsir Jalalayn : Over them will be an enclosing Fire (read mu’sada or mūsada), closed on top [of them].

Tagalog : Na ang kanilang kabayaran ay Impiyernong-Apoy na nakapinid.

Inaloy niyan ko ayat a ika dowa a so Mohammad [s.a.w] na halal on ankoto a ingd ko kapakithidawa iyan on, ko tindg o Ibn Abbās, pitharo o Mujāhid a: So miataban ka on (hay Mohammad) na halāl rka, go pitharo o al Hassan al Basrī a: Hialal skaniyan a Makkah ko Mohammad sa masa a mapontok ko kadawndaw, a gioto so miakambowat so hadīth a kiaopakatan a mabagr a: Giankai a ingd na hiaram o Allāh ko gawii a kiaadna niyan ko manga langit ago so lopa sa skaniyan na haram (pagaadatan) ko kiaharama on o Allāh sa taman ko alongan a Qiyāmah, sa di khapata so kayo ron, ago di khabadot so otan on, sa hialal rakn sa kotika ko kadawndaw, sa mindod so kahaharam iyan imanto sa datar o ka haharam iyan kagaigai, sa sampayin o makamamasa ko migagayib (ankoto a katharo iyan).

2015. So ayat a ika tlo na gioto kon so giimbawata ago so balk a di pmbawata ko tindg o Ibn Abbās, pitharo o Mujāhid ago so Qatādah ago so ad Dahhāk a: A so mimbawata na gioto so Ādam, na so inimbawata iyan na so manga moriataw niyan, sa gioto i madait sabap sa so kiaaloya o Allāh ko ingd (a giya Makkah) na initondog iyan on so taw a magiingd ko ingd a so Ādam ago so mbawataan iyan.

2016. So katharo a Kabad ko ayat a ika pat a pimaanaan tano sa kaprasarasay, na madakl a inipmana on o manga Ulama ko tafsīr, pitharo o Ibn Mas’ūd a aya maana niyan na mbabatang a tomitindg, adn pman a aya kon a maana niyan na so kazosokod ago kathito, adn pman a aya kon a maana niyan na so margn ago mapitl ago kapromasay ko kaoyagoyag.

2017. So da niyan masapang a pangalang na inosay o ayat a, 14, 15, 16, 17, a gianan so panolon o Qur’ān ko kikapdiin ko oripn sa pakamaradikaan, ago so kapamagana ko masa a taon sa wata a ilo a madazg ago so miskin a adn a kapipiloi ron, na aya samporna iyan na mababaloy skaniyan a taw a gii roo nggolawla a miaratiaya ko Allāh ago mapantang, sa da a bali ankoto a manga galbk amay ka so taw na kna o ba Muslim, ka di ron phakanggay a gona, sa giankoto a miangaaaloy a manga galbk na gioto i khisapang ko pangalang sa kapakasorga o manosiya na sa dn sa di roo makasapang na aya khakowa niyan na so Naraka a siksa o Allāh.

Adn a tindg sa sokon so al aqabah na gioto na palaw sa Naraka a skaniyan na pito polo pankat ko Jahannam ko katharo o Ka’b al Ahbār, pitharo o al Hassan a palaw ko Jahannam, so Qatādah na skaniyan na pangalang a mabagr a riompakan iran sabap ko onot paratiaya iran ko Allāh, sa nggolalan ko manga galbk a miangaaaloy a palaya oto margn sa ginawa o taw oba niyan manggolawla, na sa dn sa nggolawla on na aya miakasapang ko pangalang sa khakowa niyan so limo o Allāh.

2018. So katampar a kawanan na babalowin anan o Allāh a karina ko limo iyan, na so manga taw a matatampar san na siran i manga taw a makapkhipantag ko limo iyan, na so katampar sa diwang na gioto so manga taw a makapkhipantag ko siksa iyan. Sii ko Islām na pakambabarakatn iyan so katampar sa kawanan ago so manga galbk iyan na aya iphagona niyan na so kawanan ago mimbaloy so kawanan a tanda a arati a mapiya (Tayammun) a gianan na sipik ko katharo a Yamīn (kawanan) na so naas ago sokna a marata na sipik ko katampar sa diwang a pmbthowan sa Shu’m a maana a diwang.

2019. So katatankal iran ko apoy na gagalidan siran on pn sa da dn a ba iran kaphakagi- mamaw sa ba siran makaliyo, ilat oto ko kalipds o siksa ka amay ka matatankal ka ko rapog a makadg na di dn pangindaw a kagalidi rka on, na amay ka galidan ka on na mataan a di khiropa o pamikiran so kasopiit ago so kasakit ankoto a siksa sa masa oto, na amay ka so Allāh a mabagr a mabasng na aya mraran’g na di ta kharaot a kira kira so kabasng o siksa iyan, sa datar oto igira miangalimo ko miamaratiayaa di ta khablaw a dar so kanayo o manga pangalimo iyan.
