Sūrah Al Fajr - [ 89 So Pidiar ] - سـورة الفجـر
( The Dawn - Ang Pamimitak ng Liwanag )

Pangnal ko Sūrah

Sūrah ini a pd ko miangaoona mitoron, a maapd ko sapolo a manga sūrah a paganay a mitoron ko kipzalsilaan on.

Aya bandingan iyan a onayan na so kapphakitadmi niyan sa so kadato ago so bagr sankai a doniya na ba dn sagad, ago so dn so rinayagan o waraan a pkhailay o manosiya na palaya dn sagad a di khatatap, so paotanotan ago so mangngtho na datar oto a managipoon sa od na mtho na somilm oriyan iyan na magankil sa mbaloy a rasaas a magogopk sa monot sa sambr o ndo’, na oriyan iyan na komasoy pman so btad iyan, sa palaya dn anan maliwanag a pandangan a o khasabot o manosiya na makakowa on sa mala a thoma ago lalangan ko kibabatog iyan.

Piangangaloy niyan so manga pagtaw a milawlanda ko doniya, anda siran imanto? Ba siran da lamda o lopa, ba siran da lbadn o kaoyagoyag a so kiababayaan iran a di alangalang, anda dn so manga paza iran, ino adn pn a pkhagdam kiran a garikis antaa ka gnogno’ ago rapandas? Palaya dn anan pandangan a patot a mabatia o adn a akal iyan.

Tomioron sa Makkah a aya bilangan o ayat iyan na 30, tomioron ko oriyan o ٍٍٍSūrah al Layl.

بِســمِ اللهِ الرَّ حْـمَنِ الرَّحِيـــمِ
Sii sa Ingaran o Allah a Makalimoon a Masalinggagawn.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Sa Ngalan ng Allâh, ang Pinakamahabagin, ang Napakamaawain at Ganap na Mapagmahal

89:1

Hassanor Alapa : Ibt ko Fajr (pidiar) 2002

Muhsin Khan : By the dawn;

Sahih International : By the dawn

Pickthall : By the Dawn

Yusuf Ali : By the break of Day

Shakir : I swear by the daybreak,

Dr. Ghali : And (by) the dawn,

Tafsir Jalalayn : By the dawn, that is to say, [by] the dawn of each day,

Tagalog : Sumumpa ang Allâh sa pamamagitan ng ‘Fajr,’

89:2

Hassanor Alapa : Go so manga kagagawii a sapolo

Muhsin Khan : By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah).

Sahih International : And [by] ten nights

Pickthall : And ten nights,

Yusuf Ali : By the Nights twice five;

Shakir : And the ten nights,

Dr. Ghali : And (by) the ten nights, (Commonly understood to be the First ten night of the pilgrimage).

Tafsir Jalalayn : and [by] the ten nights, the [first] ten nights of Dhū’l-Hijja,

Tagalog : At sa pamamagitan ng sampung gabi na ito ay ang unang sampung araw ng ‘Dhul Hijjah’ at sa anuman na pinarangalan nito,

89:3

Hassanor Alapa : Go so ganap ago so gansar 2003

Muhsin Khan : And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allah).

Sahih International : And [by] the even [number] and the odd

Pickthall : And the Even and the Odd,

Yusuf Ali : By the even and odd (contrasted);

Shakir : And the even and the odd,

Dr. Ghali : And (by) the Even and the Odd,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and [by] the even, the pair, and the odd (read watr or witr, two [alternative] forms), the single,

Tagalog : At sa lahat ng ‘Shaf`a’[1] at sa ‘witr,’[2]

89:4

Hassanor Alapa : Go so kagagawii igira mikhalibabas

Muhsin Khan : And by the night when it departs.

Sahih International : And [by] the night when it passes,

Pickthall : And the night when it departeth,

Yusuf Ali : And by the Night when it passeth away;-

Shakir : And the night when it departs.

Dr. Ghali : And (by) the night when it departs, (Or: sets forth passing away).

Tafsir Jalalayn : and [by] the night in motion, falling or receding:

Tagalog : At sa pamamagitan ng gabi habang lumalaganap ang kadiliman nito,

89:5

Hassanor Alapa : Ba adn a madadalm roo a sapa ko taw a adn a akal iyan

Muhsin Khan : There is indeed in them (the above oaths) sufficient proofs for men of understanding (and that, they should avoid all kinds of sins and disbeliefs, etc.)!

Sahih International : Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?

Pickthall : There surely is an oath for thinking man.

Yusuf Ali : Is there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand?

Shakir : Truly in that there is an oath for those who possess understanding.

Dr. Ghali : Is there in that an oath for a sensible person? (Literally: person owning sense).

Tafsir Jalalayn : Is there in that, oath, an oath for one of sense?, [one of] intellect (the response to the oath has been omitted, that is to say, [it is to be understood as something like], la-tu‘adhdhabunna yā kuffāra Makka, ‘you will assuredly be chastised O disbelievers of Mecca!’).

Tagalog : Hindi ba sa mga panunumpang nabanggit ay mga matibay na katibayan sa sinumang ginagamit niya ang kanyang pang-unawa!

89:6

Hassanor Alapa : Ba nka da mailay o andamanaya i pinggolawla o Kadnan ka ko pagtaw o Ād

Muhsin Khan : Did you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not see (thought) how your Lord dealt with 'Ad (people)?

Sahih International : Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad -

Pickthall : Dost thou not consider how thy Lord dealt with (the tribe of) A'ad,

Yusuf Ali : Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people),-

Shakir : Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with Ad,

Dr. Ghali : Have you not seen how your Lord has done with Aad,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Have you not seen, [do you not] know O Muhammad (s), how your Lord dealt with ‘Ād,

Tagalog : Hindi mo ba nakita, O Muhammad, kung ano ginawa ng iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha sa sambayanan ni 'Ad?

89:7

Hassanor Alapa : (sa ingd a) Iram a adn a manga pask iyan a manga babagr 2004

Muhsin Khan : Who were very tall like lofty pillars,

Sahih International : [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars,

Pickthall : With many-columned Iram,

Yusuf Ali : Of the (city of) Iram, with lofty pillars,

Shakir : (The people of) Aram, possessors of lofty buildings,

Dr. Ghali : ÉIram comprising the columns, (i.e., It is the city of Aad, who were stalwart and huge buildings).

Tafsir Jalalayn : Iram — these were the former [people of] ‘Ād (Irama is an explicative supplement or a substitution, and it is treated as a diptote because it is a proper noun and feminine) — of the towering ones, that is to say, the tall ones — the tallest one among them would reach four hundred cubits —

Tagalog : Na sila ay mula sa tribo ng ‘Iram’ na nagtatangan ng pambihirang lakas at mga nagmamay-ari ng mga matataas na gusali na may matitibay na mga haligi sa mga matatag na pader,

89:8

Hassanor Alapa : A so da a inadn a datar iyan (a bangnsa) ko manga ingd

Muhsin Khan : The like of which were not created in the land?

Sahih International : The likes of whom had never been created in the land?

Pickthall : The like of which was not created in the lands;

Yusuf Ali : The like of which were not produced in (all) the land?

Shakir : The like of which were not created in the (other) cities;

Dr. Ghali : The like of which was not created in the lands?

Tafsir Jalalayn : the like of which was not created in the land, in terms of their power of assault and strength,

Tagalog : Na walang nilikha na ganito sa kalupaan sa pagiging katulad ng kanilang higanteng pangangatawan at pambihirang lakas?

89:9

Hassanor Alapa : Go so pagtaw o Thamūd 2005 a so gii ran pamnkagn so lakongan ko balintad

Muhsin Khan : And (with) Thamud (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)?

Sahih International : And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?

Pickthall : And with (the tribe of) Thamud, who clove the rocks in the valley;

Yusuf Ali : And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?-

Shakir : And (with) Samood, who hewed out the rocks in the valley,

Dr. Ghali : And (with) Tham?d? who carved out the rocks in the valley,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and Thamūd, who hollowed, hewed, the rocks (sakhr is the plural of sakhra) in the valley, the Wādī al-Qurā, [rocks] which they used as dwellings,

Tagalog : At kung paano ang ginawa sa mga angkan ni Thamoud na sila ang sambayanan ni Sâleh, na tinatabas at inuukit nila ang mga matatayog na bato na nasa kalagitnaan ng mga maliliit na lambak at ginawa nila ito bilang mga tahanan?

89:10

Hassanor Alapa : Go so Fir’aun a adn a 2006 manga lapk iyan.

Muhsin Khan : And (with) Fir'aun (Pharaoh), who had pegs (who used to torture men by binding them to pegs)?

Sahih International : And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? -

Pickthall : And with Pharaoh, firm of might,

Yusuf Ali : And with Pharaoh, lord of stakes?

Shakir : And (with) Firon, the lord of hosts,

Dr. Ghali : And (with) Firaawn, (Pharaoh) owning the bulwarks? (Or: stakes).

Tafsir Jalalayn : and Pharaoh, the one of the tent-pegs: he used to fasten four pegs and tie to these the hands and feet of those whom he tortured —

Tagalog : At kay Fir`âwn na hari ng Ehipto na nagmamay-ari ng mga sundalo na nagpapatatag ng kanyang kaharian at nagpapalakas ng kanyang pag-aatas?

89:11

Hassanor Alapa : A siran oto na mimbotakal siran ko manga ingd

Muhsin Khan : Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allah).

Sahih International : [All of] whom oppressed within the lands

Pickthall : Who (all) were rebellious (to Allah) in these lands,

Yusuf Ali : (All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands,

Shakir : Who committed inordinacy in the cities,

Dr. Ghali : (They) who tyrannized in the lands,

Tafsir Jalalayn : those who were rebellious, became tyrannical, in the land,

Tagalog : Sila ay lumampas sa hangganan at nagmalabis sa kalupaan,

89:12

Hassanor Alapa : Sa piakandakl iran on so kapaminasa 2007

Muhsin Khan : And made therein much mischief.

Sahih International : And increased therein the corruption.

Pickthall : And multiplied iniquity therein?

Yusuf Ali : And heaped therein mischief (on mischief).

Shakir : So they made great mischief therein?

Dr. Ghali : So they worked much corruption therein,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and caused much corruption therein?, [by way of] slaying and otherwise.

Tagalog : napakarami na ang kanilang nagawang pang-aapi at pamiminsala sa kalupaan,

89:13

Hassanor Alapa : Na inantonan siran o Kadnan ka sa sosonan a siksa

Muhsin Khan : So your Lord poured on them different kinds of severe torment.

Sahih International : So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.

Pickthall : Therefore thy Lord poured on them the disaster of His punishment.

Yusuf Ali : Therefore did thy Lord pour on them a scourge of diverse chastisements:

Shakir : Therefore your Lord let down upon them a portion of the chastisement.

Dr. Ghali : Then your Lord poured on them the scourge of torment?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So your Lord poured on them a scourge of chastisement.

Tagalog : Na kung kaya, pinuksa sila ng iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, ng matinding pagkapuksa.

89:14

Hassanor Alapa : Mataan a so Kadnan ka na Magaayan

Muhsin Khan : Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them).

Sahih International : Indeed, your Lord is in observation.

Pickthall : Lo! thy Lord is ever watchful.

Yusuf Ali : For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower.

Shakir : Most surely your Lord is watching.

Dr. Ghali : Surely your Lord is indeed Ever-Observing.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Assuredly your Lord is ever on the watch, watching over the deeds of servants, nothing of which escapes Him, that He may then requite them for these [deeds].

Tagalog : Walang pag-aalinlangan, ang iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, O Muhammad, ay walang hanggang Nakamasid sa kanila na Batid Niya kung sinuman ang lumabag sa Kanya, na pansamantalang pinagbibigyan sila, at pagkatapos ay pupuksain sila bilang pagpupuksa ng Makapangyarihan at Tagapagkuntrol.

89:15

Hassanor Alapa : Na so pman so manosiya na igira tipngan skaniyan o Kadnan iyan sa sakawn Iyan ago bgan Iyan sa limo na 2008 tharoon iyan a so Kadnan ko na siakaw ako Niyan

Muhsin Khan : As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and gifts, then he says (puffed up): "My Lord has honoured me."

Sahih International : And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."

Pickthall : As for man, whenever his Lord trieth him by honouring him, and is gracious unto him, he saith: My Lord honoureth me.

Yusuf Ali : Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me."

Shakir : And as for man, when his Lord tries him, then treats him with honor and makes him lead an easy life, he says: My Lord honors me.

Dr. Ghali : Then, as for man, just when his Lord tries him, so He honors him, and showers His favors on him, then he says, "My Lord has honored me."

Tafsir Jalalayn : And as for man, the disbeliever, whenever his Lord tests him and honours him, with wealth and other things, and is gracious to him, he says, ‘My Lord has honoured me’.

Tagalog : Sa sinumang tao na kapag siya ay sinubok ng kanyang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha ng biyaya, at pinaluwag sa kanya ang kanyang kabuhayan, at siya ay inilagay sa marangyang pamumuhay, na iniisip niya na ito ay parangal sa kanya mula sa kanyang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na kanyang sasabihin: Ang aking ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha ay pinarangalan ako.

89:16

Hassanor Alapa : Na amay pman ka tiobaan Iyan sa diankaan Iyan on so rizkhi niyan (sa pakaitoon Iyan) na tharoon iyan a so Kadnan ko na piakadapanas ako Niyan

Muhsin Khan : But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!"

Sahih International : But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."

Pickthall : But whenever He trieth him by straitening his means of life, he saith: My Lord despiseth me.

Yusuf Ali : But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me!"

Shakir : But when He tries him (differently), then straitens to him his means of subsistence, he says: My Lord has disgraced me.

Dr. Ghali : And just when He tries him, so He determines for him the right estimate of his provision, then he says, "My Lord has degraded me."

Tafsir Jalalayn : But when he tests him and restricts his provision for him, he says, ‘My Lord has humiliated me’.

Tagalog : Subali’t siya naman na sinubok, at pinasikip sa kanya ang kanyang kabuhayan, at iniisip na ito ay kawalang-halaga sa paningin ng Allâh, ay sasabihin niya: Ang aking ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha ay hinamak ako.

89:17

Hassanor Alapa : Di’, Ogaid na di niyo zakawn so manga wata a ilo 2009

Muhsin Khan : Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity (i.e. you neither treat them well, nor give them their exact right of inheritance)!

Sahih International : No! But you do not honor the orphan

Pickthall : Nay, but ye (for your part) honour not the orphan

Yusuf Ali : Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans!

Shakir : Nay! but you do not honor the orphan,

Dr. Ghali : Not at all! No indeed, (but) you do not honor the orphan,

Tafsir Jalalayn : No indeed! — a disavowal [of this notion], in other words, honour is not about wealth, nor is there any humiliation in poverty, rather it has to do with obedience and disobedience [respectively]; but the disbelievers of Mecca unmindful of this. Rather they do not honour the orphan, they do not treat him with kindness, despite their wealth, or [it means that] they do not give him what is his due from an inheritance,

Tagalog : Ang katotohanan ay hindi ang iniisip ng taong ito, dahil ang pagpaparangal ay dahil sa pagsunod sa Allâh at ang pagpapahamak ay dahil sa paglabag sa Kanya, at kayo ay hindi ninyo inaalagaan at pinahahalagahan ang mga ulila,

89:18

Hassanor Alapa : Go di niyo iphannkat so kapakakana ko miskin

Muhsin Khan : And urge not on the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor)!

Sahih International : And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.

Pickthall : And urge not on the feeding of the poor.

Yusuf Ali : Nor do ye encourage one another to feed the poor!-

Shakir : Nor do you urge one another to feed the poor,

Dr. Ghali : And you do not urge one another on (offering) food to the indigent,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and they do not urge, neither themselves nor others, the feeding of the needy;

Tagalog : At hindi kayo nakikitungo nang mabuti sa mga katulad niya, at hindi ninyo ipinag-utos sa isa’t isa na pakanin ang mga mahihirap,

89:19

Hassanor Alapa : Go pkhn iyo so minibagak a tamok o miatay sa kabosaw

Muhsin Khan : And you devour inheritance all with greed,

Sahih International : And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,

Pickthall : And ye devour heritages with devouring greed.

Yusuf Ali : And ye devour inheritance - all with greed,

Shakir : And you eat away the heritage, devouring (everything) indiscriminately,

Dr. Ghali : And you eat the heritage with indiscriminate eating,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and they devour inheritance (turāth means mīrāth) greedily (lamman), that is to say, voraciously, when they appropriate (lammuhum) the women’s and the young ones’ share of the inheritance together with their own share of it, or to their own wealth;

Tagalog : At kinakain ninyo (kinukuha ninyo nang di-makatarungan) ang karapatan ng iba sa pamamagitan ng pagiging gahaman (o sakim) ninyo sa mana ng iba,

89:20

Hassanor Alapa : Go pkhababayaan iyo so tamok sa kabaya a mala

Muhsin Khan : And you love wealth with much love!

Sahih International : And you love wealth with immense love.

Pickthall : And love wealth with abounding love.

Yusuf Ali : And ye love wealth with inordinate love!

Shakir : And you love wealth with exceeding love.

Dr. Ghali : And you love wealth with an ardent love.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and they love wealth with abounding love, that is to say, greatly, and so they do not expend [any] of it (a variant reading in the case of all four verbs has the second person plural).

Tagalog : At talamak ninyong minamahal ang kayamanan.

89:21

Hassanor Alapa : Di’, amay ka gopkn so lopa sa kagopk

Muhsin Khan : Nay! When the earth is ground to powder,

Sahih International : No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -

Pickthall : Nay, but when the earth is ground to atoms, grinding, grinding,

Yusuf Ali : Nay! When the earth is pounded to powder,

Shakir : Nay! when the earth is made to crumble to pieces,

Dr. Ghali : Not at all, When the earth is pounded (into powder), pounding, pounding,

Tafsir Jalalayn : No indeed! — a deterrent for them from such [conduct]. When the earth is pulverised repeatedly, when it is shaken until every edifice has collapsed and is destroyed,

Tagalog : Na hindi nararapat na ganito ang inyong kalagayan (pagkatao).

89:22

Hassanor Alapa : Go makaoma so Kadnan ka ago so manga malāikat a zasaap siran

Muhsin Khan : And your Lord comes with the angels in rows,

Sahih International : And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,

Pickthall : And thy Lord shall come with angels, rank on rank,

Yusuf Ali : And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank,

Shakir : And your Lord comes and (also) the angels in ranks,

Dr. Ghali : And your Lord comes, and the Angels rank on rank,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and your Lord, that is to say, His command, and the angels arrive rank on rank (saffan saffan is a circumstantial qualifier, meaning ‘standing in rows’ or ‘made up of many ranks’),

Tagalog : Na kung kaya, kapag niyanig na ang kalupaan at nagkabiyak-biyak na ang mga ito, at dumating ang iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, O Muhammad, upang pagpapasiyahan ang Kanyang paghuhukom sa pagitan ng Kanyang mga nilikha, at ang mga anghel ay nakahanay,

89:23

Hassanor Alapa : Na mitalingoma sa alongan oto so Jahannam a sa alongan oto na makaphananadm dn so manosiya na antonaa dn i bali ron o kapananadm

Muhsin Khan : And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him?

Sahih International : And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?

Pickthall : And hell is brought near that day; on that day man will remember, but how will the remembrance (then avail him)?

Yusuf Ali : And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him?

Shakir : And hell is made to appear on that day. On that day shall man be mindful, and what shall being mindful (then) avail him?

Dr. Ghali : And Hell is made to come (face to face) upon that Day, man will remember, upon that Day, and however will the Reminding (avail) him?

Tafsir Jalalayn : and Hell on that day is brought [near], pulled by seventy thousand sets of reins, each set of reins [pulled] by the hands of seventy thousand angels, as it groans and seethes in fury; on that day (yawma’idhin is a substitution for idhā, ‘when’, the response to which is [the following]) man, that is to say, the disbeliever, will remember, his prodigal conduct in it, but how will remembering avail him [now]? (the interrogative is meant as a denial, in other words, his remembering that will not be of any use to him).

Tagalog : At dadalhin ang Impiyerong-Apoy sa kagimbal-gimbal na Araw na yaon, na roon ay mapagtatanto ng walang pananampalataya ang katotohanan at siya ay magsisisi, subali’t ano pa ba ang makukuha niyang pakinabang kapag siya ay nagsisi, gayong walang pag-aalinlangang hindi niya pinahalagahan ang katotohanan at pagsisisi noong siya ay nasa daigdig pa, kaya huli na ang lahat para sa kanya?

89:24

Hassanor Alapa : Sa matharo iyan a oba ako bo miakapangonakona sa galbk a mapia ko kaoyagoyag akn.

Muhsin Khan : He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!"

Sahih International : He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."

Pickthall : He will say: Ah, would that I had sent before me (some provision) for my life!

Yusuf Ali : He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!"

Shakir : He shall say: O! would that I had sent before for (this) my life!

Dr. Ghali : He will say, "Oh would that I had forwarded some good for my (future) life!"

Tafsir Jalalayn : He will say, as he remembers: ‘O (yā is for calling attention to something) would that I had sent ahead, good deeds and faith, for my life!’, [for] a good [life] in the Hereafter, or [it means] ‘during my life’ in the world.

Tagalog : Sasabihin niya: Sayang! Sana, ang nagawa ko sa daigdig na mga gawain ay ang anumang mapapakinabangan ko sa aking buhay sa Kabilang-Buhay.

89:25

Hassanor Alapa : Sa alongan oto na da a phakasiksa ko siksa Iyan a isa bo 2010

Muhsin Khan : So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish.

Sahih International : So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,

Pickthall : None punisheth as He will punish on that day!

Yusuf Ali : For, that Day, His Chastisement will be such as none (else) can inflict,

Shakir : But on that day shall no one chastise with (anything like) His chastisement,

Dr. Ghali : So, upon that Day none will torment as He torments, (Literally: "as" His tormenting).

Tafsir Jalalayn : Then on that day none shall mete out (read yu‘adhdhibu) His, God’s, chastisement, that is to say, He shall not delegate it to any other;

Hassanor Alapa : Go da a phakapatong ko patong Iyan a isa bo 2011

Muhsin Khan : And none will bind as He will bind.

Sahih International : And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].

Pickthall : None bindeth as He then will bind.

Yusuf Ali : And His bonds will be such as none (other) can bind.

Shakir : And no one shall bind with (anything like) His binding.

Dr. Ghali : And none will bind (as) His binding.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and, likewise, none shall bind (read yūthiqu) His bind (a variant reading has yu‘adhdhabu, ‘[none] shall be chastised’, and yūthaqu, ‘[none] shall be bound’, so that the [suffixed] pronoun of ‘adhābahu and wathāqahu refers to the [chastisement and the binds of the] disbeliever, the meaning then being, ‘none shall be chastised as he shall, and none shall be bound as he shall [be bound]’).

Tagalog : At walang sinuman ang may kakayahan na gapusan o magkadena na katulad ng paggagapos o pagkakadena ng Allah, at walang sinuman ang makaaabot sa anumang kakayahan ng Allâh sa Araw na yaon.

Sahih International : [To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,

Pickthall : But ah! thou soul at peace!

Yusuf Ali : (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction!

Shakir : O soul that art at rest!

Dr. Ghali : O you self (that is) composed,

Tafsir Jalalayn : ‘O soul at peace!, [the one] secure, namely, the believing one.

Tagalog : Sasabihin sa isang matapat na mananampalataya: O ikaw na may panatag na kalooban tungo sa pagpuri sa Allâh at paniniwala, at sa anumang kaligayahan na inihanda sa mga mananampalataya,

Muhsin Khan : "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him!

Sahih International : Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],

Pickthall : Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure!

Yusuf Ali : "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him!

Shakir : Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him),

Dr. Ghali : Return to your Lord satisfied with Supreme Satisfaction!

Tafsir Jalalayn : Return — this is said to it upon death — to your Lord, that is to say, return to His command and to His will, pleased, with the reward, pleasing, in God’s sight with your deeds; in other words [return O soul] combining both descriptions (both of which are circumstantial qualifiers). And it will be said to it at the Resurrection:
