Sūrah Ar Rahmān - [ 55 So Makalimoon ] - سـورة الرّحمـن
( The Beneficent - Ang Pinakamahabagin )

Pangnal ko Sūrah

So kalankapan ko manga ulama ko Tafsīr na aya tindg iran na giai na sūrah a initoron sa Makkah, ogaid na adn a pd kiran a aya tindg iyan na so sabaad on na initoron sa Madīnah. Sa so kalaan on na matatankd a bangnsa o manga sūrah a initoron sa Makkah.

So lapiat iyan na maporo a iringa ko ongangn a makasasayan sa bayok ago maporo so maana niyan, sa kadadalman sa katharo a lalayon pkhakasoy a so: Anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa (so manosiya ago so Jinn) i pakapmbokhagn iyo a dowa ?” a miaka 31 makasoy ko lagaday o manga ayat iyan a 78.

Skaniyan i ika nm ko lompokan o pito a manga sūrah a pizabanding iyan so wahi, so manga limo o Allāh ago so maori a Alongan. Ilay anka so Pangnal ko Sūrah 50.

So saginsing ankai a manga kaposan o manga ayat na masasatiman sa batang, ago makatotoro ko dowa a ngganapa a waraan anan o kiapangadn o Allāh a khabaloy a dalīl a mapayag sa so kaadn na mibibida sa waraan ko Miangadn sa kagia skaniyan na ngganapa na so miangadn na gansar a isaisa a da a sakotowa iyan, ka so btad o miangadn na salakaw ko btad o inadn sa di makapndayaga.

So Katimbl iyan: So Allāh a lbi a Makalimoon a somiogo sa manga wahī a pantag sa kapiaan o kaadn iyan a aya pondiong iyan na so manosiya a daporan o doniya a amoran o liyaon, ko kabasa on o sabagi, sa so kiapa- ngadn iyan na ngganapa a ndodowa apia sii ko ginawa o manosiya a makambabatang ago madidianka, sa langowan oto a inadn iyan na phaninggaposan ko kadadas sa aya bo a khalamba na so Allāh a phangwaris ko langowan taman (55:1-34).

Phaninggaposan so marata ko tampata iyan, sa datar oto mambo so mapia, sa bantoga o manosiya so Allāh a aya khirk ko kapangadn ago ron siran on phakandod (55:35-78).

Initoron skaniyan sa Madīnah, aya kadakl a ayat iyan 78, tomioron ko oriyan o Sūrah ar Ra’d.

So Manonompang on a Hadīth o Nabī [s.a.w]:

Pianothol o at Tirmidī a miakapoon ko Mohammad Bin al Munkadir a miakapoon ko Jābir [r.a.] a: Lominiyo so Rasūlullāh [s.a.w] ko manga bolayoka iyan na biatiya iyan kiran so Sūrah ar Rahmān, ipoon ko poonan iyan na taman ko kaposan iyan, na tomirn siran, na pitharo iyan a: Sabnar a biatiya akn skaniyan ko Jinn ko kagagawii o Jinn na miaadn siran a lbi a mapia i kasmbag a di skano, sa oman akn mabatiya so ayat a: “Anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapmbokhagn iyo” na tharoon iran a: Da dn a shayi a pd ko limo oka Kadnan ami i pakapmbokhagn ami, sa rk ka so bantogan. (piakambowat skaniyan o at Tirmidī ago pianothol skaniyan o al Hāfidh al Bazzār ago so Ibn Jarīr).
بِســمِ اللهِ الرَّ حْـمَنِ الرَّحِيـــمِ
Sii sa Ingaran o Allah a Makalimoon a Masalinggagawn.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

55:1

Hassanor Alapa : So Makalimoon

Muhsin Khan : The Most Beneficent (Allah)!

Sahih International : The Most Merciful

Pickthall : The Beneficent

Yusuf Ali : (Allah) Most Gracious!

Shakir : The Beneficent Allah,

Dr. Ghali : The All-Merciful,

Tafsir Jalalayn : The Compassionate One, God, exalted be He,

Tagalog : Ang Allâh na Pinakamahabagin

55:2

Hassanor Alapa : A inipangndao Niyan so Qur’ān

Muhsin Khan : Has taught (you mankind) the Quran (by His Mercy).

Sahih International : Taught the Qur'an,

Pickthall : Hath made known the Qur'an.

Yusuf Ali : It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.

Shakir : Taught the Quran.

Dr. Ghali : He taught the Qur'an.

Tafsir Jalalayn : has taught, whomever He will, the Qur’ān.

Tagalog : Siyang nagturo sa tao ng Banal na Qur’ân; upang madali niya itong mabigkas, isaulo at maintindihan ang kahulugan nito.

55:3

Hassanor Alapa : Inadn Iyan so manosiya

Muhsin Khan : He created man.

Sahih International : Created man,

Pickthall : He hath created man.

Yusuf Ali : He has created man:

Shakir : He created man,

Dr. Ghali : He created man.

Tafsir Jalalayn : He created man, the species [mankind],

Tagalog : Nilikha Niya ang tao,

55:4

Hassanor Alapa : Na inipangndao Niyan on so katharo (ongangn) 1657

Muhsin Khan : He taught him eloquent speech.

Sahih International : [And] taught him eloquence.

Pickthall : He hath taught him utterance.

Yusuf Ali : He has taught him speech (and intelligence).

Shakir : Taught him the mode of expression.

Dr. Ghali : He has taught him distinct (Literally: evident (demonstration) (speech).

Tafsir Jalalayn : teaching him the [coherent] speech, utterance.

Tagalog : Na tinuruan Niya ng napakahusay na pagpapahayag sa anumang nais niyang ipahayag at hinggil dito siya ay namumukod-tangi sa iba.

55:5

Hassanor Alapa : So alongan ago so olan na (pphalalagoy) sa itongan a madidianka

Muhsin Khan : The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning, etc.).

Sahih International : The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

Pickthall : The sun and the moon are made punctual.

Yusuf Ali : The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;

Shakir : The sun and the moon follow a reckoning.

Dr. Ghali : The sun and the moon (run) to all-precisely reckoned (courses),

Tafsir Jalalayn : The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, they move according to a [strict] calculation,

Tagalog : Ang araw at ang buwan ay tumatakbo na nagsasalitan ayon sa ganap na pagkasukat sa dinaraanan nito na hindi nagkakasalungatan at hindi nagagalaw (o hindi nawawala) sa kaayusan nito.

55:6

Hassanor Alapa : Go so bitoon ago 1658 so kayo na psojud siran a dowa (ko Allāh)

Muhsin Khan : And the herbs (or stars) and the trees both prostrate.

Sahih International : And the stars and trees prostrate.

Pickthall : The stars and the trees prostrate.

Yusuf Ali : And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration.

Shakir : And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him).

Dr. Ghali : And the star and the trees prostrate themselves.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and the grass, all stalkless vegetation, and the trees, that [vegetation] which possesses stalk, prostrate, comply with what is required of them.

Tagalog : Ang mga bituin na nasa kalangitan at ang mga puno na nasa kalupaan ay nakikilala nito ang Allâh na kanilang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha at ang mga ito ay nagpapatirapa para sa Allâh at nagpapasailalim sa anumang kaparaanan na pagkalikha sa mga ito na ikinabubuti ng mga tao na alipin ng Allâh at nasa kanilang kapakinabangan.

55:7

Hassanor Alapa : Go so langit na iniporo Iyan ago inibtad Iyan so timbangan 2055

Muhsin Khan : And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance.

Sahih International : And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

Pickthall : And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure,

Yusuf Ali : And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),

Shakir : And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance

Dr. Ghali : And the heaven, He raised it up, and laid down the Balance.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And He has raised the heaven and set up the balance, He has established justice,

Tagalog : At ang kalangitan ay itinaas sa ibabaw ng kalupaan, at inilagay sa kalupaan ang makatarungang batas na ito ay Kanyang ipinag-utos at itinala upang sundin ng Kanyang mga alipin.

55:8

Hassanor Alapa : Sa di kano makapanalimbot ko manga timbangan

Muhsin Khan : In order that you may not transgress (due) balance.

Sahih International : That you not transgress within the balance.

Pickthall : That ye exceed not the measure,

Yusuf Ali : In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.

Shakir : That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure.

Dr. Ghali : That you should not be inordinate in the Balance,

Tafsir Jalalayn : [declaring] that you should not contravene, that is to say, so that you may not do wrong, with regard to the balance, that [instrument] with which one weighs.

Tagalog : Upang hindi kayo lumampas sa inyong karapatan,

55:9

Hassanor Alapa : Sa pakatindga niyo so timbangan sa kaontol 1659 go di niyo phangorangi so timbangan

Muhsin Khan : And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient.

Sahih International : And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

Pickthall : But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof.

Yusuf Ali : So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.

Shakir : And keep up the balance with equity and do not make the measure deficient.

Dr. Ghali : And keep up the weight with equity, and do not cause loss in the Balance.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And observe the weights with justice, fairly, and do not skimp the balance, [do not] decrease [the value of] what is being weighed.

Tagalog : At di mandaya sa timbang sa mga taong pinakikitunguhan, na kung kaya, sundin ninyo ang makatarungang pagtitimbang at huwag ninyong dayain ang timbangan kapag nagtimbang kayo sa mga tao.

55:10

Hassanor Alapa : Go so lopa na inibtad Iyan sa (kayat) sa pantag ko manga kaadn

Muhsin Khan : And the earth He has put for the creatures.

Sahih International : And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.

Pickthall : And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures,

Yusuf Ali : It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures:

Shakir : And the earth, He has set it for living creatures;

Dr. Ghali : And the earth, He laid down for (all) beings.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And the earth, He placed it, He fixed it [in place], for [all] creatures: man, jinn and others.

Tagalog : At ang kalupaan ay Kanyang inilagay at ginawang palatag; upang manatili rito ang Kanyang mga nilikha.

55:11

Hassanor Alapa : Kadadalman sa onga (sapad) ago so korma a adn a manga kalokop iyan 1660

Muhsin Khan : Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates).

Sahih International : Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

Pickthall : Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees,

Yusuf Ali : Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates);

Shakir : Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters,

Dr. Ghali : Therein are fruits, and palm-trees comprising sheaths,

Tafsir Jalalayn : In it are fruits and, the familiar, date-palms with sheaths, the spathes containing its flowers,

Tagalog : Nandirito ang mga prutas, at puno ng palmera ng datiles na naglalabas ng ubod na pinagmumulan sa pamamagitan nito ng mga bunga, at mga butil na mga balat at dahon; bilang kabuhayan para sa inyo at sa inyong mga inaalagaang hayop,

55:12

Hassanor Alapa : Ago so od a adn a okap iyan 1661 ago so (mangngtho) a borok.

Muhsin Khan : And also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants.

Sahih International : And grain having husks and scented plants.

Pickthall : Husked grain and scented herb.

Yusuf Ali : Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants.

Shakir : And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance.

Dr. Ghali : And grains owning the blades, (Or: husks) and all-fragrant herbs. (Or: soothing comfort)

Tafsir Jalalayn : and grain, such as wheat and barley, with husk, and fragrant herb.

Tagalog : At mayroon ding mga tumutubong matatamis na mababangong pananim.

55:13

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapm-bokhagn iyo

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) (i.e., the jinn and mankind) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours, graces, will you deny? (tukadhdhibān is mentioned thirty one times; the interrogative is meant [to be understood] as an affirmative, judging by what al-Hākim [al-Naysābūrī] reported [by way of an isnād] from Jābir [b. ‘Abd Allāh al-Ansārī], who said, ‘The Messenger of God (s) was reciting surāt al-Rahmān to us, and when he completed it, he said, “What is wrong with you that you have been silent [throughout]? Verily the jinn are more responsive than you. Not once did I recite this verse to them — So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny? — but that they said, ‘Not one of your graces, our Lord, do we deny, for [all] praise belongs to You’ ”).

Tagalog : Kung gayon alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao? At napakaganda ng sagot ng mga ‘jinn’ noong binigkas sa kanila ng Propeta ang kabanata at sa tuwing mabibigkas ang mga ganitong talata, kanilang sinabi: Walang anuman sa mga biyaya ng aming ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha ang aming tinatanggihan, na kung kaya, sa Iyo lamang, O Allâh, ang aming papuri. At nararapat na ganito ang sinumang alipin ng Allâh na kapag binigkas sa kanya ang mga biyaya ng Allâh at Kanyang mga palatandaan ay kanyang aaminin at pasasalamatan niya ang Allâh at pupurihin niya.

55:14

Hassanor Alapa : Inadn Iyan so manosiya a phoon sa lipaw a mamara a pthaginting a datar o kiomba a lopa

Muhsin Khan : He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

Sahih International : He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

Pickthall : He created man of clay like the potter's,

Yusuf Ali : He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery,

Shakir : He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels,

Dr. Ghali : He created man of dry clay like earthenware,

Tafsir Jalalayn : He created man, Adam, of dry clay (salsāl, a dry hollow mud producing an echo if tapped), resembling the potter’s (fakhkhār, clay that has been baked),

Tagalog : Nilikha ang ama ng sangkatauhan, na si Âdam mula sa may tunog na luwad na katulad ng palayok na gawa sa luwad,

55:15

Hassanor Alapa : Go inadn Iyan so Jinn a phoon sa linang a apoy

Muhsin Khan : And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

Sahih International : And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

Pickthall : And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire.

Yusuf Ali : And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:

Shakir : And He created the jinn of a flame of fire.

Dr. Ghali : And He created the jinn (race) of a merging of fire.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and He created the Jann, the father of the jinn, namely, Iblīs, of a smokeless flame of fire.

Tagalog : At nilikha naman si Iblees na siya ay kabilang sa mga ‘jinn,’ mula sa walang usok na lagablab ng apoy na pinaghalu-halo.

55:16

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i 1662 pakapmbokhagn iyo

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?

Tagalog : Kung gayon alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao?

55:17

Hassanor Alapa : Kadnan o dowa a sbangan ago so dowa a sdpan 1663

Muhsin Khan : (He is) the Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter).

Sahih International : [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

Pickthall : Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests!

Yusuf Ali : (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:

Shakir : Lord of the East and Lord of the West.

Dr. Ghali : The Lord of the two easts and The Lord of the two wests.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Lord of the two Easts, [the points of] the winter sunrise and the summer sunrise, and Lord of the two Wests: likewise [the two points of sunset].

Tagalog : Ang Allâh , Siya ay ‘Rabb’ na Nagmamay-ari ng dalawang sinisikatan ng araw sa taglamig at tag-init, na Tagapagmay-ari rin ng nilulubugan nito sa dalawang panahong yaon, at dahil lahat ng ito ay nasa ilalim ng Kanyang Pangangasiwa at Pangangalaga.

55:18

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapmbokhagn iyo

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?

Tagalog : Kung gayon alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao?

55:19

Hassanor Alapa : Piakatoga Iyan so dowa a ragat (a so matabang ago so matimos) sa gii siran makambaratmowa a dowa

Muhsin Khan : He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together.

Sahih International : He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];

Pickthall : He hath loosed the two seas. They meet.

Yusuf Ali : He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:

Shakir : He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together:

Dr. Ghali : He merged the two seas (that) meet together;

Tafsir Jalalayn : He has loosed the two waters, the sweet and the salty; [and so] they meet, in the perception of the eye.

Tagalog : Pinaghalo ng Allâh ang tubig ng dalawang karagatan – tabang at maalat – na ito ay nagtatagpo,

55:20

Hassanor Alapa : A so pagltan iran na rnding a di ran plawangn a dowa (soson a ig a tabang 1664 ago matimos)

Muhsin Khan : Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress.

Sahih International : Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

Pickthall : There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other).

Yusuf Ali : Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:

Shakir : Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass.

Dr. Ghali : Between them (both) is an isthmus (i.e., an obstruction) (which) they do not overpass. (Literally: none of them is inequitable)

Tafsir Jalalayn : Between them there is a barrier, by His power, exalted be He. They do not overstep, neither of the two encroaches upon the other to become mixed with it.

Tagalog : Na mayroong itong harang na di-nakikita na ito ay hindi naghahalo sa isa’t isa na hindi nawawala ang katangian ng bawa’t isa nito, sa halip ay napanatili ang tabang bilang tabang at ang alat bilang alat kahit ito ay nagtatagpo sa isa’t isa.

55:21

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapmbokhagn iyo (gianan so manosiya ago so jinn).

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?

Tagalog : Kung gayon alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao?

55:22

Hassanor Alapa : Pphakambowat a phoon sankoto a (ragat a matimos ago tabang) so montiya ago so Marjān 1665

Muhsin Khan : Out of them both come out pearl and coral.

Sahih International : From both of them emerge pearl and coral.

Pickthall : There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone.

Yusuf Ali : Out of them come Pearls and Coral:

Shakir : There come forth from them pearls, both large and small.

Dr. Ghali : From (both of) them come out (Literally: go out) the pearl and all-merged coral (stones);

Tafsir Jalalayn : From [both of] them, from the point at which they [seem to] meet — but which is actually from [only] one of the two, and that is, the salt water — is brought forth (yukhraju, passive, may also be read as active, yakhruju, ‘emerge’) the pearl and the coral (marjān, these are red pieces of shell, or small pearls).

Tagalog : Lumalabas mula sa dalawang karagatan sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihan ng Allâh ang dalawang bagay, perlas at korales o ‘coral.’

55:23

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapmbokhagn iyo

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?

Tagalog : Kung gayon alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao?

55:24

Hassanor Alapa : Go Rkiyan so manga padaw a mathataragombalay sa ragat a datar o manga palaw

Muhsin Khan : And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains.

Sahih International : And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.

Pickthall : His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners.

Yusuf Ali : And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:

Shakir : And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains.

Dr. Ghali : And to Him belong the running (ships), (sailing) aloft (Literally: raised up, erected) in the sea like landmarks.

Tafsir Jalalayn : His are the crafted ships [that sail] in the sea [appearing] like landmarks, like mountains in their tremendous size and height.

Tagalog : Pagmamay-ari Niya ang mga malalaking sasakyang pandagat na kasinlaki ng mga bundok na naglalayag sa karagatan sa kapakinabangan ng tao na napakataas ang mga layag nito na mga bakal.

55:25

Hassanor Alapa : Na anda dn ko manga limo o Kadnan iyo a dowa i pakapm-bokhagn iyo

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Muhsin Khan : Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish.

Sahih International : Everyone upon the earth will perish,

Pickthall : Everyone that is thereon will pass away;

Yusuf Ali : All that is on earth will perish:

Shakir : Everyone on it must pass away.

Dr. Ghali : All that (exists) upon it (i.e., the earth) is vanishing.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Everyone who is on it, that is, [on] the earth, of animal beings, will perish (man, ‘who’, is used to indicate predominance of rational beings);

55:27

Hassanor Alapa : Sa aya khalamba na so paras 1666 o Kadanan ka a khirk ko kala ago so kalbihan a pangalimo

Muhsin Khan : And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.

Sahih International : And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

Pickthall : There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory.

Yusuf Ali : But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.

Shakir : And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory and honor.

Dr. Ghali : And there (still) remains (forever) The Face of your Lord, The Owner of Majesty and Munificence.

Tafsir Jalalayn : yet there will remain the countenance of your Lord, His Essence, [the countenance] of majesty, magnificence, and munificence, towards believers, through His graces to them.

Tagalog : At ang Mukha ng Allâh na iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha na punung-puno ng kadakilaan, kamaharlikaan, karangalan at kabaitan ay mananatili magpasawalang-hanggan.

[Dito sa talatang ito ang katibayan sa katangian ng Allâh na Siya ay mayroong Mukha na angkop at karapat-dapat lamang sa Kanya na walang paghahambing sa Kanyang mga nilikha at pagtatanong kung paano ang pagiging gayon nito.]

55:28

Hassanor Alapa : Pphamangniyan Skaniyan o langowan a kaadn ko manga langit ago so lopa, a oman gawii na Skaniyan (a Allāh) na madadalm sa btad 1667

Muhsin Khan : Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)!

Sahih International : Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.

Pickthall : All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power.

Yusuf Ali : Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)!

Shakir : All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory).

Dr. Ghali : Whoever are in the heavens and the earth ask Him; every Day He is upon some (momentous) affair.

Tafsir Jalalayn : All that is in the heavens and the earth implore Him, either by way of speech or by their very state [of dependence on Him], for the strength which they require for worship, [for] provision, forgiveness and other things. Every day, [all the] time, He is upon some matter, something that He manifests in accordance with what He has decreed since pre-eternity, such as the giving of life, the bringing of death, exalting and abasing [individuals], giving abundantly and withholding, responding to a supplicating person and giving the one requesting [something] and so on and so forth.

Tagalog : Nagsusumamo ang lahat ng mga nasa kalangitan at kalupaan hingil sa kanilang mga pangangailangan, na walang sinuman sa kanila ang hindi nangangailangan sa Allâh. Sa bawa’t araw, Siya ay nakikitungo sa mga ganitong bagay: pag-aangat o pagbababa ng sinuman, pagkakaloob o pagkakait, pagbibigay ng buhay o pagsasanhi ng kamatayan.

55:30

Muhsin Khan : We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)!

Sahih International : We will attend to you, O prominent beings.

Pickthall : We shall dispose of you, O ye two dependents (man and jinn).

Yusuf Ali : Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds!

Shakir : Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies.

Dr. Ghali : We will soon finish your (affair), O you (both) overburdened (Or: discomforted) ones! (i.e., the jinn and humankind (see verse 33).

Tafsir Jalalayn : We will attend to you, We shall turn to reckon with you, O you two heavy ones!, mankind and jinn.

Tagalog : At walang pag-aalinlangan, Kami ay nakatuon sa pagkukuwenta at pagtutumbas sa inyong mga gawain na inyong ginawa sa daigdig, O kayong mga tao at mga ‘jinn,’ at parurusahan Namin ang mga masasama, at gagantimpalaan Namin ang mga sumunod.

Hassanor Alapa : Hay matitimo a Jinn ago manosiya amay ka magaga niyo a kapakalithowas iyo 1668 ko manga darpa ko manga langit (kawang) ago so lopa na lithowas kano (sa palagoy ko siksa Ami) go di kano phakalithowas inonta a nggolalan sa bagr a (a phoon ko Allāh)

Muhsin Khan : O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)!

Sahih International : O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ].

Pickthall : O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction.

Yusuf Ali : O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!

Shakir : O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority.

Dr. Ghali : O company of the jinn and humankind, in case you are able to penetrate through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! You will not penetrate except with an all-binding authority.

Tafsir Jalalayn : O company of jinn and humans, if you are able to pass through, to exit from, the confines, the regions, of the heavens and the earth, then pass through! — a command [meant] to challenge them to what they are incapable of [doing]. You will not pass through except with a sanction, [except] with some power, and you have no power for such a thing.

Tagalog : O kayong grupo ng mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao! Kung may kakayahan kayo na takasan at lampasan ang hangganan at ang pinagpasiyan ng Allâh na kayo ay hanggang doon lamang, na lalampasan ninyo ang lugar ng mga kalangitan at kalupaan ay gawin ninyo, subali’t wala kayong kakayahan hinggil dito maliban na lamang sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihan, katibayan at kautusan na mula sa Allâh. (Paano ito mangyayari sa inyo samantalang walang kayong kakayahan na makapagdulot ng kapinsalaan at kapakinabangan sa inyong mga sarili?)

55:34

Hassanor Alapa : Sa thom-parakan kano niyan sa manga kadg a pd sa apoy ago bl a apoy a da a sorazab iyan na di kano 1669 phakadaag a dowa

Muhsin Khan : There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.

Sahih International : There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.

Pickthall : There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape.

Yusuf Ali : On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have:

Shakir : The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves.

Dr. Ghali : Against you (both) will be sent flares of fire, and (molten) brass; then you will not vindicate yourselves.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Against you will be unleashed a heat of fire (shuwāz, can either mean that the flame thereof has no smoke or [that it does have it] with it) and a flash of brass, without any flame, and you will not be able to seek help, you will not be able to defend yourselves against this, nay, it will drive you to the site of the Gathering.

Tagalog : Ipapadala laban sa inyong dalawa, ang walang usok na naglalagablab na apoy at tunay na tanso, na ibubuhos sa inyong mga ulunan, at hindi kayo magkakaroon ng kakayahan na mapangalagaan ang inyong mga sarili sa isa’t isa ni makapagtulungan, O kayo na mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao.

55:36

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Hassanor Alapa : Na amay ka mabnkag so langit na mabaloy a obarobar (sa kariga) 1670 a datar o lana a matotonaw

Muhsin Khan : Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide.

Sahih International : And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -

Pickthall : And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide -

Yusuf Ali : When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment:

Shakir : And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide.

Dr. Ghali : Then, when the heaven is cloven so it becomes rosy-like ointment.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And when the heaven is split open, when it becomes open with [many] gates [in preparation] for the descent of the angels, and it turns crimson (wardatan, [literally, ‘a rose’], in other words, red like this [rose]), like tanned leather, red skins, in contrast to its [the heaven’s] usual appearance (the response to idhā, ‘when’, is [along the lines of] fa-mā a‘zama’l-hawli, ‘How great will be the terror then!’).

Tagalog : At kapag nabiyak na ang kalangitan at nawarak na sa Araw ng Muling Pagkabuhay, na ito ay magiging kulay pula na katulad ng rosas na magiging parang kumukulong mantika at lusaw na tanso; dahil sa kasidhian at sa kagimbal-bimbal na mangyayari sa Araw ng Muling Pagkabuhay.

55:38

Muhsin Khan : Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Sahih International : So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

Pickthall : Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? -

Yusuf Ali : Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Shakir : Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Dr. Ghali : Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you (both) cry lies?

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?

55:39

Hassanor Alapa : Sa alongan oto na da a pagizaan ko dosa niyan a manosiya ago da pn a Jinn

Muhsin Khan : So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin, (because they have already been known from their faces either white or black).

Sahih International : Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.

Pickthall : On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin.

Yusuf Ali : On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin.

Shakir : So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin.

Dr. Ghali : Then upon that Day neither any of humankind nor any of the jinn (race) will be questioned about his guilty deed.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Thus on that day no man will be questioned about his sin, nor any jinn, about his sin; but they are questioned on some other occasion: By your Lord, We shall question them all [Q.15:92] (al-jānn in this instance and in what will follow denotes the jinn, and also in both cases al-ins denotes human beings).

Tagalog : Na kung kaya, sa Araw na yaon ay hindi na tatanungin ng mga anghel ang mga masasama na mula sa tao at ‘jinn’ hinggil sa kanilang kasalanan.

55:40

Hassanor Alapa : Khakilala so manga baradosa sabap ko manga toos iran 1671 na singgawtn siran ko manga ombonombonan iran ago sii ko manga palo iran 1672

Muhsin Khan : The Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) will be known by their marks (black faces), and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.

Sahih International : The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

Pickthall : The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet.

Yusuf Ali : (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.

Shakir : The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

Dr. Ghali : The criminals will be recognized by their marks, and (they) will be taken (away) by (their) forelocks and (their) feet.

Tafsir Jalalayn : The guilty will be recognised by their mark: blackened faces and bruised eyes; so they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

Tagalog : Na malalaman ng mga anghel ang mga masasama dahil sa kanilang mga tanda, kaya sila ay dadakmain sa kanilang mga ulunan at mga paa at itatapon sila sa Impiyerno.

55:42

Tafsir Jalalayn : So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?, the forelock of each one of them will be bound to his foot either from the back or from the front and he is then hurled into the Fire, and it will be said to them:

Tagalog : Kung gayon, alin sa mga biyaya ng Allâh na inyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, na pangrelihiyon at makamundo ang inyong tinatanggihan, O kayong mga ‘jinn’ at mga tao?

55:43

Hassanor Alapa : Giai so Jahannam a so giipakambokhagn skaniyan o manga baradosa

Muhsin Khan : This is Hell which the Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) denied.

Sahih International : This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

Pickthall : This is hell which the guilty deny.

Yusuf Ali : This is the Hell which the Sinners deny:

Shakir : This is the hell which the guilty called a lie.

Dr. Ghali : This is Hell to which criminals cry lies;

Tafsir Jalalayn : ‘This is Hell which the guilty [were wont to] deny!’

Tagalog : sa kanila na mga masasama bilang pag-aalipusta sa kanila: Ito ang Impiyerno na hindi pinaniwalaan ng mga masasama noong sila ay nasa daigdig na kanilang tinanggihan:

55:44

Hassanor Alapa : A phliot siran ko lmbak iyan ago sii ko lmbak a tionaw a tombaga a mayaw sa taman a mayaw

Muhsin Khan : They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water!

Sahih International : They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

Pickthall : They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water.

Yusuf Ali : In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!

Shakir : Round about shall they go between it and hot, boiling water.

Dr. Ghali : They go round between it and between duly boiling (Or: hot) scalding water.

Tafsir Jalalayn : They shall pass round, they shall pace, between it and boiling hot water, [water] of extreme temperature, which they are given to drink every time they call to be rescued from the heat of the Fire (ānin is defective, like qādin).

Tagalog : Sila ay magsasalit-salitan mula sa parusa sa pagitan ng naglalagablab na Apoy at sa pagpapainom sa kanila ng napakasidhing kumukulong inumin, na magkakaputul-putol ang kanilang mga bituka dahil sa sidhi ng init nito.

Hassanor Alapa : Go adn a rk i taw a ikalk iyan so tindg o Kadnan iyan a dowa a asinda

Muhsin Khan : But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW , and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise).

Sahih International : But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

Pickthall : But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens.

Yusuf Ali : But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-

Shakir : And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens.

Dr. Ghali : And for him who fears the Station of his Lord there are two Gardens;

Tafsir Jalalayn : But for those who feared, that is, for every one of them, or for all of them together, the station of their Lord, the standing before Him for the Reckoning and therefore refrained from being disobedient to Him, there will be two gardens.

Tagalog : At para naman sa natakot sa Allâh mula sa Kanyang mga alipin na mga tao at mga ‘jinn,’ na natakot sa kanyang pakikipagharap sa Allâh, kaya siya ay naniwala at sumunod at iniwasan ang mga kasalanan, para sa kanya ay dalawang Hardin.

55:47

Sahih International : Having [spreading] branches.

Pickthall : Of spreading branches.

Yusuf Ali : Containing all kinds (of trees anddelights);-

Shakir : Having in them various kinds.

Dr. Ghali : (Both) comprising (different) species (of trees).

Tafsir Jalalayn : Both with (dhawātā, the dual form of the regular form dhawāt, with its lām [its third consonant] is changed into a yā’) [abundant] branches (afnān is the plural of fanan, similar [in pattern] to talal [atlāl]).

Tagalog : At ang dalawang Hardin ay may mga sanga na mga magaganda at malalawak na nakalatag ang pagkakasanga-sanga ng mga ito na may mga prutas.

55:49

Yusuf Ali : In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);

Shakir : In both of them are two fountains flowing.

Dr. Ghali : In (both of) them are two springs running.

Tafsir Jalalayn : In both of them there are two flowing springs.

Tagalog : Nasa dalawang Hardin na yaon ang dalawang ilog na malayang umaagos sa pagitan nito.

Sahih International : In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

Pickthall : Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs.

Yusuf Ali : In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.

Shakir : In both of them are two pairs of every fruit.

Dr. Ghali : In (both of) them are two pairs of every fruit.

Tafsir Jalalayn : In both of them, of every fruit (fākiha) of [the fruits of] this world — or [it, fākiha, means] all those things in which one delights (yutafakkahu bihi) — there are two kinds, two varieties, one juicy, one dried, and those which in this world are bitter, like colocynth, will be sweet [therein].

Muhsin Khan : Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand.

Sahih International : [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.

Pickthall : Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand.

Yusuf Ali : They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach).

Shakir : Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach.

Dr. Ghali : Reclining upon beddings, the linings of which are of brocade, and the reapings of the two gardens are within reach;

Tafsir Jalalayn : [They will be] reclining (muttaki’īna is a circumstantial qualifier operated by an omitted [verb], that is to say, yatana‘‘amūna, they will enjoy bliss [while reclining]’) upon couches lined with [heavy] silk brocade, (istabraq) thick or coarse silk, the outer lining being of fine silk (sundus). And the fruits of both gardens will be near, so that it may be reached by the one standing up, the one sitting down or the one lying down.

Tagalog : At para sa kanila na natakot sa kanilang pakikipagharap sa Allâh na kanilang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha ang dalawang Hardin na roon sila’y magpakasaya, na sila ay mga nakasandal sa higaan na may mga nakahelera na mga makakapal na sutla na may mga burda, at ang mga bunga ng dalawang Hardin ay malalapit sa kanila na abot-kamay.

55:55

Hassanor Alapa : Kadadalman so dranga a dmpas sa manga midadari a manga popontok i kailay 1675 a da a miakatamak kiran a manosiya ko onaan iran ago da pn (a miakatamak kiran) a Jinn

Muhsin Khan : Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them.

Sahih International : In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -

Pickthall : Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them.

Yusuf Ali : In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

Shakir : In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them.

Dr. Ghali : Therein are (maidens) restraining their glances whom neither humankind nor the jinn (race) have deflowered before them;

Tafsir Jalalayn : In them, in the two gardens and what they comprise of upper chambers and palaces, are maidens of restrained glances, [restricting] their eyes to those spouses of theirs from among [either] the men or the jinn who are reclining, [maidens] who have not been touched, [who] have not been deflowered — and these [maidens] are [either] houris or women of this world who [will] have been created [anew], by any man or jinn before them.

Tagalog : At nandoroon sa mga higaan na yaon ang kanilang mga asawa, na ang kanilang paningin ay para lamang sa kanilang mga asawa, at hindi sila tumitingin sa iba, na sapat sa kanila ang kanilang kinalalagyan, na hindi sila nahipo (o nagalaw) ng kahit na sinumang tao o ‘jinn’ bago ang kanilang mga sariling asawa.

55:57

Hassanor Alapa : Datar o ba siran manga montiya a Yāqūt ago Marjan

Muhsin Khan : (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral.

Sahih International : As if they were rubies and coral.

Pickthall : (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone.

Yusuf Ali : Like unto Rubies and coral.

Shakir : As though they were rubies and pearls.

Dr. Ghali : As if they were the rubies and the all-merged coral (stones);

Tafsir Jalalayn : It is as though they are rubies, in their purity, and pearls, in their fairness.

Tagalog : At katulad nila na mga asawa na mga dilag na kababaihan sa ‘Al-Jannah’ na mga ‘Hoor’ ay parang silang mga perlas at mga ‘coral’ dahil sa linis at ganda nila.

55:59

Sahih International : Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

Pickthall : Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness?

Yusuf Ali : Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?

Shakir : Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness?

Dr. Ghali : Should the recompense of fairness be (anything) except fairness?

Tafsir Jalalayn : Is the reward of goodness, [manifested] through obedience, anything but goodness?, [granted] through bliss?

Tagalog : Hindi ba ang nararapat lamang na gantimpala sa sinumang gumawa ng kabutihan sa daigdig ay walang iba kundi mabuti rin ang karapat-dapat na para sa kanya, na ito ay ‘Al-Jannah’ (Hardin) sa Kabilang-Buhay?

55:61

Muhsin Khan : And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise).

Sahih International : And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -

Pickthall : And beside them are two other gardens,

Yusuf Ali : And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-

Shakir : And besides these two are two (other) gardens:

Dr. Ghali : And lesser (Or: besides) than these two are two gardens,

Hassanor Alapa : A makaiitm siran sa kagagadong o warna iran (ankoto a dowa a kasorgaan)

Muhsin Khan : Dark green (in colour).

Sahih International : Dark green [in color].

Pickthall : Dark green with foliage.

Yusuf Ali : Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering).

Shakir : Both inclining to blackness.

Dr. Ghali : Both of dark green tincture,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Deep green (mudhāmmatān, [this means that they are almost] black on account of the intensity of their greenness).

Tagalog : Ang dalawang (panibagong) Hardin na ito ay luntian, at sa katunayan dahil sa tindi ng pagiging luntian nito ay halos mangitim na ito.

55:65

Hassanor Alapa : Ka dadalman siran a dowa (a asinda) sa dowa a paridi a somosolapay siran sa (ig)

Muhsin Khan : In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water.

Sahih International : In both of them are two springs, spouting.

Pickthall : Wherein are two abundant springs.

Yusuf Ali : In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:

Shakir : In both of them are two springs gushing forth.

Dr. Ghali : In both of them are two spurting springs.

Tafsir Jalalayn : In both of them will be two gushing fountains, rushing with water, unceasing.

Tagalog : At nandoroon sa dalawang Hardin na yaon ang bukal na bumubulwak ang tubig na walang patid.

55:67

Muhsin Khan : In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates.

Sahih International : In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.

Pickthall : Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate.

Yusuf Ali : In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:

Shakir : In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates.

Dr. Ghali : In both of them are fruits, and palm-trees and pomegranates.

Tafsir Jalalayn : In both of them will be fruits and date-palms and pomegranates, the [latter] two [fruits] being from among these [fruits of the two gardens]; but it is also said that they belong to [the fruits of] some other [garden].

Tagalog : Nasa dalawang Hardin ding yaon ang iba’t ibang uri ng prutas, mga puno ng palmera ng mga datiles at ‘Rommân’ (‘pomegranates’ o granada).

55:69

Muhsin Khan : Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful;

Sahih International : In them are good and beautiful women -

Pickthall : Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful -

Yusuf Ali : In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;-

Shakir : In them are goodly things, beautiful ones.

Dr. Ghali : In them are the most charitalsle (i.e., best; choicest) and fairest of maidens.

Tafsir Jalalayn : In them, that is, in the two gardens and their palaces and what they comprise, are maidens [who are] good, in nature [and with], beautiful, faces.

Tagalog : At nasa apat na Hardin na yaon ang mga asawang ubod ng bait at ganda at maamo ang kanilang mga mukha.

55:71

Hassanor Alapa : Manga midadari a lalaminn siran ko barombarong (a pd sa manga montiya)

Muhsin Khan : Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions;

Sahih International : Fair ones reserved in pavilions -

Pickthall : Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions -

Yusuf Ali : Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-

Shakir : Pure ones confined to the pavilions.

Dr. Ghali : Huris, cloistered in pavilions,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Houris (hur, this means maidens with intense black eyes set against the [intense] whiteness [of the iris]) secluded, concealed, in pavilions, made of studded gems, annexed to the palaces, like boudoirs.

Tagalog : Mga ‘Hoor’ (mga magagandang dilag na mga kababaihan) – sila ay nakatago at pinangalagaan na nasa mga pabilyon o bahay-tolda.

55:73

Hassanor Alapa : Da a miakatamak kiran a manosiya ko onaan iran ago da pn a Jinn

Muhsin Khan : Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them.

Sahih International : Untouched before them by man or jinni -

Pickthall : Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them -

Yusuf Ali : Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

Shakir : Man has not touched them before them nor jinni.

Dr. Ghali : Whom neither humankind nor the jinn (race) have deflowered before them.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Untouched by any man before them, before these [soon-to-be] spouses of theirs, or jinn.

Tagalog : Hindi kailanman nahipo (o nagalaw) ang mga ‘Hoor’ na ito ng kahit na sinumang tao at ‘jinn’ bago ang pagkatakda sa mga asawa nila na kalalakihan.

55:75

Tafsir Jalalayn : Reclining, namely, their spouses (muttaki’īna, syntactically, it is as [described] above) upon green cushions (rafraf is the plural of rafrafa, which can mean [either] ‘carpets’ or ‘cushions’) and lovely druggets (‘abqariyyin, the plural of ‘abqariyya, which are velvet carpets).

1667.
