037:1

Hassanor Alapa : Ibt ko zasaap sa kazaap (gioto so sagorompong a giizaap sa simba ko Allāh)

Muhsin Khan : By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows).

Sahih International : By those [angels] lined up in rows

Pickthall : By those who set the ranks in battle order

Yusuf Ali : By those who range themselves in ranks,

Shakir : I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks

Dr. Ghali : And by those ranged in ranks ranging,

Tafsir Jalalayn : By those who are ranged in ranks — [by] the angels who range their souls in worship or their wings in the air awaiting their orders;

037:2

Hassanor Alapa : Go so pphrarasng sa samporna a karasng

Muhsin Khan : By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way.

Sahih International : And those who drive [the clouds]

Pickthall : And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof

Yusuf Ali : And so are strong in repelling (evil),

Shakir : Then those who drive away with reproof,

Dr. Ghali : Then by the scarers scaring, (This is sometimes meat that the Angles perform such acts)

Tafsir Jalalayn : and the drivers who drive [away], the angels who drive the clouds;

037:3

Hassanor Alapa : Go so pmbatiya sa manga pananadm (ko Allāh) 1274

Muhsin Khan : By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Quran from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir].

Sahih International : And those who recite the message,

Pickthall : And those who read (the Word) for a reminder,

Yusuf Ali : And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)!

Shakir : Then those who recite, being mindful,

Dr. Ghali : Then by the reciters of a Remembrance,

Tafsir Jalalayn : and those who recite, that is to say, the readers of the Qur’ān, they recite it, by way remembrance (dhikran is a verbal noun referring to [the action of] al-tāliyāt, ‘those who recite’).

037:4

Hassanor Alapa : Ka mataan a so Tuhan iyo na Isaisa

Muhsin Khan : Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah);

Sahih International : Indeed, your God is One,

Pickthall : Lo! thy Lord is surely One;

Yusuf Ali : Verily, verily, your Allah is one!-

Shakir : Most surely your Allah is One:

Dr. Ghali : Surely your God is indeed One,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Indeed your God, O people of Mecca, is certainly One,

037:5

Hassanor Alapa : Kadnan o manga langit ago so lopa ago so nganin ko pagltan iran, ago Kadnan o sbangan

Muhsin Khan : Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah).

Sahih International : Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.

Pickthall : Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings.

Yusuf Ali : Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun!

Shakir : The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts.

Dr. Ghali : The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them both and The Lord of the easts.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun’s risings, that is, as well as the sun’s settings — each day it [the sun] has a rising and a setting.

037:6

Hassanor Alapa : Mataan a pipharasan Ami so langit a tampar ko doniya sa parahiasan a manga bitoon

Muhsin Khan : Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty).

Sahih International : Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars

Pickthall : Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;

Yusuf Ali : We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,-

Shakir : Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars,

Dr. Ghali : Surely We have adorned the lowest heaven with an adornment, the planets,

Tafsir Jalalayn : We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with an adornment, the stars, that is to say, [adorned] with their light or with them [the stars] (the genitive annexation [bi-zīnati’l-kawākib] is for explication; similarly [explicative] is the reading of bi-zīnatin, ‘with an adornment’, with nunation, [the adornment] explained as being ‘the stars’);

037:7

Hassanor Alapa : Ago siap phoon sa langowan a shaytan a pphangalandada 1275

Muhsin Khan : And to guard against every rebellious devil.

Sahih International : And as protection against every rebellious devil

Pickthall : With security from every froward devil.

Yusuf Ali : (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits,

Shakir : And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan.

Dr. Ghali : And (as) a preservation against every insurgent Shatan. (Ever – vicious (one), i.e., devil).

Tafsir Jalalayn : and to guard (wa-hifzan is in the accusative because of an implied verb) that is to say, ‘We have guarded it with meteors’, from every (min kulli is semantically connected to the implied verb) any rebellious devil, who is a transgressor, in rebellion against obedience.

037:8

Hassanor Alapa : Sa di siran makapamakin’g ko manga malāikat (sa langit) ago khasogat siran a lbad a apoy ko langowan a katampar 1276

Muhsin Khan : They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side.

Sahih International : [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,

Pickthall : They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side,

Yusuf Ali : (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side,

Shakir : They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side,

Dr. Ghali : They do not overhear the most Exalted Chiefs, (i.e., angels) and they are pelted (with hurled meteors) from every side,

Tafsir Jalalayn : They, namely, the devils (lā yasma‘ūna, this is [the beginning of] a new sentence) cannot listen in — this ‘listening’ of theirs represents that faculty with which they memorise [what they hear] — on the High Council, the angels in the heavens (the [normally transitive verb] al-samā‘ is complemented with the preposition ilā, ‘to’ [here ‘in on’] because it includes the additional sense of ‘paying attention’ [while listening]; a variant reading has yassamma‘una, which is actually yatasamma‘ūna, the tā’ have been assimilated with the sīn), for they, the devils, are pelted, with flames, from every side, from the remotest regions of the heavens,

Tagalog : Hindi makakayanan ng mga ‘Shaytân’ na makarating sa mga grupo ng mga matataas na nilikha, na ito ay mga kalangitan at ang sinuman na naroroon na mga anghel, upang makinig sa kanila sa anuman na kanilang sinasabi na ipinapahayag ng Allâh mula sa Kanyang batas at pagtatakda, at sila (mga Shaytân) ay binabato sa pamamagitan ng mga bulalakaw sa lahat ng dako;

037:9

Hassanor Alapa : Sa dndg kiran ago adn a bagian iran a siksa a tatap.

Muhsin Khan : Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.

Sahih International : Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,

Pickthall : Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment;

Yusuf Ali : Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty,

Shakir : Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement,

Dr. Ghali : Rejected, and they will have a lasting torment,

Tafsir Jalalayn : to repel [them] (duhūran is a verbal noun from daharahu, meaning, ‘he repelled him, driving him away’; it is an object denoting reason) and theirs, in the Hereafter, is an everlasting chastisement;

037:10

Hassanor Alapa : Inonta bo so sominggawt sa madilapt (ko katharo) na totodn skaniyan a kadg a masindaw

Muhsin Khan : Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness.

Sahih International : Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

Pickthall : Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame.

Yusuf Ali : Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness.

Shakir : Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame.

Dr. Ghali : Except him who snatches a snatching (away); then a piercing flaming (meteor) follows him up.

Tafsir Jalalayn : except him who snatches a fragment (al-khatfa is the verbal noun, that is to say, ‘[that] one time’; the exceptive clause refers to the subject [of the verb] yasma‘ūna, in other words, ‘the only devil that is able to listen is the one that hears a word from the angels and snatches it away quickly’) and who is then pursued by a piercing flame (shihāb is a meteor) that pierces him, or burns him or robs him of his senses.

037:11

Hassanor Alapa : Sa izai nka siran o ba siran i mabasng a kiaadna on a di so inadn Ami a mataan a inadn ami siran a phoon sa lipaw a mapilit

Muhsin Khan : Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay.

Sahih International : Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.

Pickthall : Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.

Yusuf Ali : Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!

Shakir : Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay.

Dr. Ghali : So ask them for a pronouncement: "Are they more valiant as a creation or the ones We created? Surely We created them of clinging clay."

Tafsir Jalalayn : So ask them, in other words, inquire of the people of Mecca for affirmation or by way of rebuke: Are they stronger as a creation, or those [others] whom We created?, of angels, heavens, the two earths and all that is in them (the use of man, ‘those whom’ [in man khalaqnā] indicates that the reference is predominantly to [other] rational creatures). Indeed We created them, that is, their origin, Adam, from a viscous clay, that sticks to the hand. The [intended] meaning is that their physical make-up is fragile so let them not behave arrogantly by rejecting the Prophet and the Qur’ān, a fact which will result in their — easily accomplished — destruction.

Muhsin Khan : Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran).

Sahih International : But you wonder, while they mock,

Pickthall : Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock

Yusuf Ali : Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule,

Shakir : Nay! you wonder while they mock,

Dr. Ghali : No indeed, you wonder, and they scoff,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Nay, but (bal is for effecting a transition from one object to another, which in this case is to inform of his state and theirs) you marvel, (‘ajibta) addressing the Prophet (s), that is, [you marvel] that they deny you, while they engage in ridicule, at your marvelling,

037:13

Hassanor Alapa : Go igira piakapananadm siran na di siran phana-nadm

Muhsin Khan : And when they are reminded, they pay no attention.

Sahih International : And when they are reminded, they remember not.

Pickthall : And heed not when they are reminded,

Yusuf Ali : And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,-

Shakir : And when they are reminded, they mind not,

Dr. Ghali : And when they are reminded, they do not remember.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and [even] when they are reminded, [when] they are admonished with the Qur’ān, they are not mindful, they do not heed the admonition,

037:14

Hassanor Alapa : Go igira miakailay siran sa tanda na gii ran pagizawi-zawn

Muhsin Khan : And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it.

Sahih International : And when they see a sign, they ridicule

Pickthall : And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.

Yusuf Ali : And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery,

Shakir : And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff,

Dr. Ghali : And when they see a sign, they turn it to scoffing.

Tafsir Jalalayn : and when they see a sign, such as the splitting of the moon [cf. Q. 54:1], they make it an object of ridicule, they deride it.

037:15

Hassanor Alapa : Sa pitharo iran a da ini a rowar sa salamankiro a mapayag 1277

Muhsin Khan : And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic!

Sahih International : And say, "This is not but obvious magic.

Pickthall : And they say: Lo! this is mere magic;

Yusuf Ali : And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery!

Shakir : And they say: This is nothing but clear magic:

Dr. Ghali : And they have said, "Decidedly this is nothing except an evident sorcery.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And they say, regarding it: ‘This is nothing but manifest sorcery — and they say in denial of the Resurrection —

037:16

Hassanor Alapa : Ba amay ka matay tano a maadn tano a bayank ago manga tolan na ba tano pagoyaga

Muhsin Khan : "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected?

Sahih International : When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?

Pickthall : When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)?

Yusuf Ali : "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)

Shakir : What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised,

Dr. Ghali : When we die and are dust and bones, will we surely be made to rise again indeed?

Tafsir Jalalayn : When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we indeed be resurrected? (In both places [sc. a-idhā and a-innā] either pronounce both hamzas, or read without pronouncing the second one and inserting an alif between them, in both cases).

037:17

Hassanor Alapa : Ago so pn so manga apo tano a miangaoona

Muhsin Khan : "And also our fathers of old?"

Sahih International : And our forefathers [as well]?"

Pickthall : And our forefathers?

Yusuf Ali : "And also our fathers of old?"

Shakir : Or our fathers of yore?

Dr. Ghali : And our earliest fathers?"

Tafsir Jalalayn : And our forefathers too?’ (read aw ābā’unā indicating a supplement; or read a-wa-ābā’unā as an interrogative, effecting the supplement with the wāw; so that what is being supplemented is either the inna together with its subject [sc. a-inna la-mab‘ūthūna], or the subject [of the verb] la-mab‘ūthūna, in which case the interrogative hamza is a separator).

037:18

Hassanor Alapa : Na tharo anka (hay Mohammad) a oway, a skano na makadadapanas

Muhsin Khan : Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated."

Sahih International : Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."

Pickthall : Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low.

Yusuf Ali : Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)."

Shakir : Say: Aye! and you shall be abject.

Dr. Ghali : Say, "Yes, and you will be (utterly) abject."

Tafsir Jalalayn : Say: ‘Yes, you will be resurrected, and you will be utterly humiliated!’

037:19

Hassanor Alapa : Mataan a skaniyan na sowara a satiman na mitkaw siran a giimangilaylay

Muhsin Khan : It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring!

Sahih International : It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.

Pickthall : There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold,

Yusuf Ali : Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see!

Shakir : So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see.

Dr. Ghali : So, surely it is only one scaring, then only then, they are looking on.

Tafsir Jalalayn : For it will be only (innamā hiya, this [hiya] is a demonstrative pronoun explained by [the following, zajratun) a single cry and, lo! they, all creatures, will be, alive, watching, [to see] what will be done with them.

037:20

Hassanor Alapa : Na matharo iran a doandoan tano dn giai so gawii a kapamalas

Muhsin Khan : They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"

Sahih International : They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."

Pickthall : And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment.

Yusuf Ali : They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"

Shakir : And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital.

Dr. Ghali : And they say, "oh woe to us! This is the Day of Doom." (Or: Judgment; Religion)

Tafsir Jalalayn : And they, the disbelievers, will say, ‘O (yā is for calling attention) woe to us!’, [O] our destruction [is here] (waylanā is a verbal noun without any [regular] verbal conjugation). And the angels will say to them: ‘This is the Day of Retribution’, the Day of Reckoning and Requital.

037:21

Hassanor Alapa : Giai so gawii a kagintas a so miaadn kano ron a gii niyo pakambokhagn

Muhsin Khan : (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."

Sahih International : [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."

Pickthall : This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny.

Yusuf Ali : (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!"

Shakir : This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie.

Dr. Ghali : This is the Day of Verdict, which you used to cry lies to.

Tafsir Jalalayn : ‘This is the Day of Judgement, between [all] creatures, that you used to deny!’

037:22

Hassanor Alapa : Timoa niyo so siran oto a manga pananakoto ago so manga datar iran ago so 1278 nganin a pzimbaan iran.

Muhsin Khan : (It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship.

Sahih International : [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship

Pickthall : (And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship

Yusuf Ali : "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped-

Shakir : Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship

Dr. Ghali : Muster the ones who did injustice, and their spouses, and whatever they were worshiping.

Tafsir Jalalayn : It is then said to the angels: ‘Gather those who did wrong, to their own souls through idolatry, together with their mates, their associates from among the devils, and what they used to worship,

037:23

Hassanor Alapa : A salakaw ko Allāh na dologn iyo siran ko lalan ko Naraka a Jahīm

Muhsin Khan : "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);

Sahih International : Other than Allah , and guide them to the path of Hellfire

Pickthall : Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell;

Yusuf Ali : "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!

Shakir : Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell.

Dr. Ghali : Apart from Allah, and so guide them to the path of Hell-Fire.

Tafsir Jalalayn : besides God, in other words, other than Him, in the way of graven images, and lead them, direct them and drive them, to the path of Hell, the way to the Fire.

037:24

Hassanor Alapa : (matharo) a pakatarga niyo siran ka mataan a zomariaan siran

Muhsin Khan : "But stop them, verily they are to be questioned.

Sahih International : And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."

Pickthall : And stop them, for they must be questioned.

Yusuf Ali : "But stop them, for they must be asked:

Shakir : And stop them, for they shall be questioned:

Dr. Ghali : And bid them stand; surely they are to be questioned,

Tafsir Jalalayn : But [first] stop them, detain them on the path, for they must be questioned, about all their sayings and deeds, and it will be said to them in rebuke:

Tagalog : At patigilin ninyo sila bago sila makarating sa Impiyerno; dahil sila ay papananagutin sa anuman na kanilang nagawa at mga sinabi noong sila ay nasa daigdig pa at tatanungin sila na may paghamak na pagtatanong.

037:25

Hassanor Alapa : Ino kano a di kano makapthatabanga (phakasanka)

Muhsin Khan : "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?"

Sahih International : [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"

Pickthall : What aileth you that ye help not one another?

Yusuf Ali : "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'"

Shakir : What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?

Dr. Ghali : How is it that you do not vindicate one another?

Tafsir Jalalayn : “What is wrong with you that you do not help one another?”, as was the case with you in this world. And it will be said to them:

Tagalog : At sasabihin sa kanila bilang pag-aalipusta: Bakit hindi kayo nagtutulungan sa isa’t isa?

037:26

Hassanor Alapa : Ogaid na siran imanto a alongan na makathatapapay siran

Muhsin Khan : Nay, but that Day they shall surrender,

Yusuf Ali : "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)!

Shakir : And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up.

Dr. Ghali : And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, indeed I would have been among the ones presented forward.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, His grace to me in giving me faith, I [too] would have been of those arraigned’, with you, in the Fire. The inhabitants of Paradise will say:

Tagalog : Kung hindi lamang sa kagandahang-loob ng aking ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha na ginabayan Niya ako tungo sa paniniwala at pinatatag niya ako rito ay mapapabilang ako sa mga dadalhin sa kaparusahan na kasama mo.

Dr. Ghali : Then in no way will we be dead,

Tafsir Jalalayn : Do we then not die [anymore],

Pickthall : Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished?

Yusuf Ali : "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?"

Shakir : Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised?

Dr. Ghali : Except for our first death, and in no way will we be tormented?

Tafsir Jalalayn : aside from our first death, that is, the one [which we suffered] in this world, and are we not to be chastised?’ — this interrogative statement is one made out of [sheer] delight and in order to speak [at length] of the graces of God, exalted be He, in [His] granting of everlasting life and refraining from inflicting any punishment.

Sahih International : Indeed, this is the great attainment.

Pickthall : Lo! this is the supreme triumph.

Yusuf Ali : Verily this is the supreme achievement!

Shakir : Most surely this is the mighty achievement.

Dr. Ghali : Surely this is indeed that which is magnificent triumph;

Tafsir Jalalayn : Truly this, that has mentioned [as being the reward] for the inhabitants of Paradise, is indeed the mighty success.

Dr. Ghali : For the like of this let the doers do (good deeds)."

Tafsir Jalalayn : For the like of this let [all] the workers work — it is said that this is said to them, or it is what they say [themselves].

Yusuf Ali : Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum?

Shakir : Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum?

Dr. Ghali : Is this a more charitable (i.e., better) hospitality, or even the Tree of Az-Zaqqum?

Tafsir Jalalayn : Is that, which is mentioned to them, a better hospitality (nuzul, denotes what is prepared for one who is being received as a guest and so forth) or the Zaqqūm tree, that is prepared for the inhabitants of the Fire — it is the vilest and most bitter tree of the Tihāma region, which God causes to grow in the Fire, as will be stated shortly.

Sahih International : Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.

Pickthall : Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers.

Yusuf Ali : For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers.

Shakir : Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust.

Dr. Ghali : Surely We have made it as a temptation (Or: trial) for the unjust.

Tafsir Jalalayn : We have indeed made it, for that reason [sc. its being a tree in the Fire], a trial for the wrongdoers?, namely, [for] the disbelievers of Mecca, for they said, ‘Fire consumes trees so how can it make them grow forth?’

Shakir : Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell;

Dr. Ghali : Surely it is a tree that comes out (Literally: goes out) in the root of Hell-Fire;

Yusuf Ali : Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water.

Tafsir Jalalayn : Verily you have fulfilled the vision’, by what you have done, in that you were able to go through with the act of sacrifice. In other words, that [which you have done] suffices for you [as redemption] (the statement nādaynāhu, ‘We called to him’, is the response to the lammā, ‘when’, so that the wāw [in wa-nādaynāhu, ‘We called to him’] is extra). Sahih International : " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.

Pickthall : Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie.

Yusuf Ali : "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars!

Pickthall : And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him).

Yusuf Ali : And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)!

Shakir : And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up;

Dr. Ghali : And they have made up a consanguity between Him and the jinn; and indeed the jinn already know that surely they will indeed be presented forward.

Tafsir Jalalayn : And they, namely, the idolaters, have set up between Him, exalted be He, and the jinn, namely, the angels (jinna: they are so called because they are hidden [ijtinān] from vision) a kinship, by saying that they are God’s daughters, while the jinn certainly know that they, that is, those who say this, shall indeed be arraigned, into the Fire, to be chastised therein.
